when II says he uses vocal lines to place accents into a groove "in between what's being sung", it reminds me of how bodhrán players in Irish traditional music primarily listen to the melody instrument to add colour and accent to a tune
The only other interview was given by Vessel in 2017 to Loudwire/Metal Hammer magazine. So it was a written text interview. This is the first live recorded interview. Stay safe 🤘 ✌️
I'll be honest, I've not heard any Sleep Token tracks but they sound great from the clips on this video. Will definitely go and check them out. Funny enough, I was talking to my partner about comments on reaction videos earlier and how when people say stuff like pause less or don't talk so much, what they really want is to watch the original video. I watch a lot of music reaction stuff because I like hearing people's opinions or more technical breakdowns of a song that I enjoy
@@Artoriaoftheabyss My partner said she once saw a reaction video where the person watched the entire song and at the end pretty much just said Wow that was really good. I mean fair enough but that's not really a reaction 🤣
If you want a really good sleep token song that hits you in the feels with ease: Bloodsport (from the room below). If you want a band similar to Sleep Token try the new October Ends song Damaged. You're welcome
You are a goofball and I love it 😂 Sleep Token is my favorite band of all time! 🖤 Have you heard Tesseract before? They are mind blowing masters of progressive metal and their singer is just not fair how good he is lmao! If you haven't checked it out yet, Tesseract - Legion is my request :)
Hi Atoria, I really enjoyed your reaction here. As you asked, it would great to see you react to the following Sleep Token songs, if you haven’t already heard them. Thread the Needle - ‘One’ EP (2016) Nazareth - ‘Two’ EP (2017) Jaws - single (2018) The Night Does Not Belong to God, The Offering and Dark Signs - all from the ‘Sundowning’ LP (2019) W O R S H I P

Its astounding how much Vessel has improved from his band before Sleep Token. I honestly think II is a hugh part of that.
