i have no earthly idea how i had heard this song before, i was genuinely confused when i saw their monthly listeners stat on spotify after this came up in my discover weekly because *i swear* i heard this song as a kid great song, i just can't get over how i was like "oh yeah i remember this song" and then discovered that it has 7,000 plays on spotify
I'm good friends with all of The Curtain Society, but best friends with Roger Lavallee. He is not only the guitarist, but the lead singer and he writes all the songs. And he's also a brilliant recording engineer. They still perform, far too rarely. Thanks for posting this, it's one of my favorites.
The Curtain Society is a great live band and are some of the nicest guys on earth. I saw them open for Stereolab in the early nineties. IF you have a chance to see the live, grab it. They, for the most part, are working on other projects right now.
My dad is good friends with Roger Lavallee, the guitarist...He is also a recording engineer. Great band and yes, it is off of "Every Corner of the Room" I have the album. It's a great one.
“Two Wonderful Stars” is from the very last Bedazzled Records release Volume Tone Tempo, part of the Bedazzled Singles Club, 2001 or prior to 2001. goo.gl/r8d1Ca
I remember hearing this song the day before I turned 21, I was in some strange lady's apartment. I was in one of those brief flashes of lucidity in the middle being blackout drunk. I don't remember how got there, or who the lady but there were like four of us sitting on the moist, brown shag carpet of a basement apartment, smoking cigarettes and using a can of mt dew or pepsi as an ashtray and this song was playing on a boombox or maybe one of those department store stereo "systems" that came with 2 speakers. then I remember a card game or maybe one of those dumb beer funnels everybody buys when the move into their first dorm. then I remember waking up in the parking lot of my buddy's apartment complex with one of those fake dollars with Bill Clinton on it with "curtain society" written in sharpie. that afternoon I walked into the liquor store and bought my first legal bottle of booze. Pricks didn't even card me, I was a bit upset lol.

Yes, ECN, . Your true identity is safe with me.
It was actually released first on the Volume, Tone, Temp EP in 1999 and later added to the "Every Corner of the Room" full length CD.

You can find the entire album in spotify. (It's the only place where i could actually find it.)
band out of Mass. Roger Lavalie (?) is/was the singer.
I believe this song actually came out in 2005 on the album "Every Corner of the Room."
