Throwing a footring on to a medium bowl

A how-to-do-it pottery film aimed at intermediate throwers who wish to enlarge their technical skills. The film shows an alternative to a "turned" footring which may be particularly suitable for larger bowls

This is wonderful. I've thrown knobs on lids and such, but the thought of throwing the foot on larger pieces never occurred to me. I don't suppose you would be willing to make more videos on your work? The philosophy you take to the clay is just wonderful

I will definitely try the foot ring, though at this stage on a wee bit smaller pot.
