I had this on my radar since the Gamefound campaign but I wanted to hear some review from people I trust. That part is now fulfilled: PREORDERED! Thanks for doing this!
I am enjoying the game a lot due to the different aspects of placing the shapes and discovering what lies behind each entry as I pick and choose what I am going to spend time on and what I need to skip. Very fun in my opinion.
Wow. I’m the first comment, after 10 hours since your upload. I think this was the longest length of time that someone hasn’t commented on a video of yours after uploading. Not too thrilled about the game, and I think a lot of your viewers resonate with that opinion. This was your first full game review for 2025 (Nucleum expansion doesn’t count), and it’s a dud. Not you lol, the game. I hope this isn’t a sign of a bad gaming year! Adventure and story book games like Sleeping Gods aren’t really your hardcore viewers’ main cup of tea, but the variety is nice at least.
I like variety for sure and after playing it again tonight, I am enjoying it a lot. That being said, everyone has their own things that they do and don’t like. The big bonus for me on this is that it is 7 separate adventures. I can play and win/lose in 90 min or so and that’s it. Sleeping Gods was just WAY too long and the game trope just got old in the time it took to finish it all.
