    What size tires are you running on the gx470? Did you have to do any cutting?

    Awesome in-depth video!! On the last campsite you guys went to and set up for lunch, do you recall seeing one of those yellow poles with a number on it? Any chance you recall the number? Thanks in advance!

    I would like to know the exact location where to explore and take my kids with me to enjoy the lytle creek mountain. Thanks for sharing it was a very nice place to overland it.

      Real easy man. Just go to Lytle Creek and follow the road all the way to the end. Once the asphalt ends the adventure begins. Explore all the trails and pick up a map at the ranger station if you want something specific. There are I believe, 19 yellow post campsites back there. Don't attempt it unless you have a high clearance vehicle though, your everyday car won't get far (not if you like your car anyway). Know your vehicle and your own abilities. And, please remember to leave the wilderness better than you found it.

    Does anyone have GPS coordinates for @2:35 (where the harder trail begins)? I am planning to take my truck out and do some wheeling this weekend..

    Is the campground shown in the beginning of the video before or after the river crossing where it started to get a bit more high clearance needed?

    • @mugengsr96
      @mugengsr96  3 роки тому

      The first campground is 2wd and low clearance friendly, just about any suv should able to get there with no problem.

      @@mugengsr96 Oh the first camp ground was to the right, not even the 4x4 road? Ive been down this entire thing but wasnt sure where that campground was. I was in a lifted JLU so we went to the furthest yellowpost where you ended up. But I wont be in that car and with the snow etc im thinking to go to an earlier camp spot. I remembered a few right before the river crossing where it started to get legit rocky, then you pass the tree and eventually the rutted areas. Thats all after the river crossing. Im in a 4x4 but stock RN (GX470)

    • @mugengsr96

      if you go to 3n06a there i think 2 camp sites before the river crossing. those can be accessed by most vehicles also.

      @@Spadookie To which camp site, this first one or past the creek where it starts to get much more off camber/big rocks. I made it to this first spot in a stock GX470 on stock wheels, I scraped my skids a little bit because it was icy and sticking up and I had noc hoice but to choose the line already set in the snow but it wasnt bad

    I've made it all the way up to yellow post 19 in 2wd. It's possible in 2wd but I wouldn't recommend it for novice drivers.

    • @mugengsr96
      @mugengsr96  3 роки тому

      NICE!!! a lot of it has to do with picking the right lines for your ascend, we took my friend with a 2wd open diff 3" lift and 33" tires on his tacoma up there and got stuck twice. i had to assist him with a tow strap so he would keep his momentum and make the rest of the way.

    You could do this whole trail in 2WD this place is so damn easy

    • @mugengsr96
      @mugengsr96  3 роки тому

      if you stick to the right of the trail the whole thing is easy even on a small fwd suv. but 3N06A you need to have 4X4 or be experienced enough to pick the perfect lines up the mountain.
