Man, your editing, composition and all round ambience you manage to achieve through your videos is just awe-inspiring! Thank you for uploading these, you manage to capture exactly what it feels like to climb and be in these beautiful places!
@@WEDGECLIMBINGno need to be sorry it's all good, I think that's what's beautiful in life, us, ever-changing. I'm really glad, for who I am now, and for once in a while seeing something beautiful like this video and just feeling! There's so much happiness and hope in sadness!
My god... I'm so glad I subbed to this channel a while ago. Every video gives off amazing vibes. The colour grading and the music in combination with the 'simple' editing makes this video one of the most relaxing i've seen. Well done to all the climbers! ❤
so aesthetic - everything. such high quality production. genuine and enthusiastic climbers. what else do we need!? glad i am supporting these guys on patreon - so proud of them.
Nice to see some less well known problems getting attention and seeing you brushing ticks marks and chalked holds. I assume it was a conscious desicion in an effort to educate people? Another great film 👍
It was your videos that inspired me to pick up my cam again after many years and started to get into filming instead of photographing the forest. And you keep getting better! Loved the calmer vibe and the little storytelling. Also, saying you looked at the "easier 7s" and then showing Le Cœur was kinda harsh, but I get it. Have you tried climbing it being small? Yeah... anyways, cheers guys!
for outdoors bouldering and asthetics Wedge is by far the most enjoyable to watch. climbing is portrayed the way how climbers see it and feel about climbing.
Yesss Sam Lawson in front of the camera!!😂 As always this video gave me the kick in the ass I need to get to work so that some day I might figure out color grading😂 Awesome work!
Another amazing Wedge video. Just curious, are the bouldering ethics mentioned at the end Font-specific? Most of them are generally good guidelines but I've never heard of the no bouldering after dark ethic.
Thanks! That list is a font specific list, like you say most of them apply in most areas, but the no night climbing is specific to font. Although there are some other areas where it applies, I think Albarracin is the same
@@WEDGECLIMBING For sure! Here in Montana, USA, night climbing is the only way to really project during the summer. Makes sense in areas where the impact to the local wildlife would be more substantial.
5:06 - This is exactly why star ratings for climbs are stupid and should be discontinued. It's far too subjective. Many of my favourite boulders or routes are un-starred. It's just the guide maker's opinion. It can also do damage by inflating traffic to specific areas, potentially speeding up degredation of that rock or the surrounding area. I really think its dumb.
Should be working but Wedge just dropped another Font video
😅
great video as always, great boulders, and thanks for the "Bouldering Ethics" at the end
Thanks 😁
@@WEDGECLIMBING also loved that part!
I mean I agree with the cinematography. But I honestly would say the cinema, the sound, and music together, is going from great to masterful.
Thanks so much!
The Forest thanks you for promoting ethics
The cinematography is starting to get REALLY good
Thanks!
I disagree, it's been majestic since day 1
starting?

made me cry, painful memories of mine lie in Font and this really made me feel a warm and sad shimmering reflection of who I once was
Sorry to hear that, I hope you're doing well 🙏

Such an amazing place. Nice touch adding the ethics in there :)

That foot adjustment at 4:54, damn cool...
Pretty swish 👌
Perfect timing! I’m going to Font next week so perhaps I’ll put some of these on my forever growing todo list.
Have a good trip!

Thanks so much! Always super great full for the support 😁
Loved the music on this one
I love that you mentioned good climbing practices and also showed them in action! Thanks for that! Also, amazing quality as always ❤
Thanks!

Thanks! Yeah definitely a conscious decision to help try and encourage good habits when it comes to brushing/cleaning
So good, wish I was going back there soon…
Wow so many lovely boulders! And great video ofc
Thanks 😁
Wonderful video, especially enjoyed the soundtrack!
Thanks!

Thanks so much! 😅 It was more in reference to the grade being low in relation to all 7s, definitely not an easy one 💪

Needed to bring in the B-team 😅
Good luck with the grading 💪
Absolutely class video as always 🙏
Thanks!
Babe, wake up Wedge just dropped a new video
Nice video. What is the reason for the finger tape around the shoes?
Thanks! It's to prevent any pealing of the rubber when on sharp toe hooks

the music is so lush
WHAT is that Arete at 0.19? That looks absolutely incredible.
Goes without saying now, but banger as always btw
Thanks! I can't remember the name, but it's on the blue circuit at Apartment Bizons 💪
@@WEDGECLIMBING great, thank you. I’ll have a look on Boolder and see if I can find it.

Amazing video as always. Could you tell me the music from the soundtrack?
Thanks! I'll put a tracklist together once I'm back at my computer 💪
🔥
Wish this video was longer ngl
I'm sure there'll be more to come 💪
Every boulder is 3stars in Font. It's just that some are f..g 10 stars (compression prows on slopers 😍)
Definitely 👌
All boulders in Fontainebleau are the best 🙃
You're not wrong...
whats your camera set up for this mate?
Sony A7SIII with mainly a sigma 24-70 2.8 👍
i gotta put it out there: le cœur is the most morpho climb ive tried in the forest, and i can't understand its high rating aside from the aesthetics
Yeah it's definitely just the hold that makes it ❤️
can we get the music? :O
Bosh
💪

I know what you mean, it's far from a perfect system. But it can be useful when visiting new areas I suppose
As beatifical and inspiring as always, the best bokeh in climbing!
Thanks!
