    Im going to answer some of the questions that have been asked: this is not paint. It is 100% solids epoxy. We add our metallic mica pigments to it. There is virtually no odor. The installer is wearing soccer shoes. The epoxy levels so the floor is flat. The epoxy being used has extended working time so one person can install a floor without any problems. If you have any questions or would like more information on our products contact us via email at info@decocrete.com

    There are several comments that indicate that epoxy floors are toxic and that they are hazardous to install. Our floors are made from quality 100% solids epoxy. There is virtually no odor!

    I never seen epoxy splashed all over like that. Usually its put on at one end and you work your way back so there are no blemishes. His shoes must have left marks. Its hard to see without seeing it up close.

    The final mirror reflection in the floor clearly shows that the floor is not too flat. If you are posting a video where you supposed to show the best, I'd expect better.

    • @Ralse
      @Ralse 10 років тому +1

      The person who laid out the floor also only shows the application of one layer with color.
      When this wears and tears, it will surely be visible, this first layer needs a protective clear and UV resistant layer.
      After applying those protective layers, the floor will surely be flat, but it's not shown in the video.

    Looks like a fast floor finished and i think it looks OK but if it was my floor to do I either would have cut the edges in with the darker brown with a paint brush or gone the extra mile and removed the base boards. The floor did look good though... did you have any flecks of epoxy on the wall from back rolling? Did you also put a urethane coat on it? or is the epoxy also chem resistant?

    I think the floor looks great. Thanks for posting. I epoxied my garage floor (grey) and it looks ok, but I think I would like to
    redo it with a better looking color. Can you put this over the existing epoxy? I will check out your web site to see what it offers.
    Also, to all those haters out there, If you don't like the color of the floor in this video or anything else for that matter, why do you feel the need to express it in such hateful way? Never will understand people like you.

    And just one layer gives you a perfectly smooth surface? Sorry but I'm a bit sceptic about it, especially after seeing the two final pictures (the way the floor reflects the door and the fireplace).

I read all the comments and I realise that you really have to know what you are doing with this Epoxy stuff. Thanks for educational comments guys. have a great day.
