The title say Turkish people but I just saw 2-3 Turkish people at the video. It’s so easy to understand that they are not Turkish from their accent. I had been in Istanbul in 2017 last time and I got lost and I tried to ask people to get help, finally i found someone who is Turkish after trying 5 times. I was really shocked and it was really sad to see how Istanbul changed in years.
That is Erdogan's policies. He imported Arabs, Africans, Afghans and Pakistani over the years and of course they all want to live in Istanbul because they can find more opportunities there and the borders with Europe are close. But since Greece closed the borders with Turkey and started beating them up and throwing them at sea they are afraid and they stay in Turkey. Turkey is stuck with them now.
@Mohammed khan Your ignorance is outstanding. Of course they are not in any official population survey because they are not citizens of Turkey. Most of them are there illegally and they don't "exist" in the eyes of the Turkish state. But they live there, work there etc. Pakistani who live legally in Turkey are far more than the 0,001% of the Turkish population and are estimated to 100k people. Again these are only one small fraction of the Pakistani who live now in Turkey the majority of which are there illegally.

@@melly2105 well, no. Just no. Streets in Turkey have several oriental things which you do not find in Greece. Just look at this video: mosques, carpets, oriental rugs, islamic art, bazaars etc everywhere. This has nothing to do with Greece, and it would be surprizing if you told me that walking in athens you saw oriental rugs or islamic art/architecture etc. Also, Greece does have baroque architecture and southern European traditional architecture in the historical city centers, completely alien to Turkish ottoman vernacular house. And i repeat, all these things are visible here. Watching this video (and having been myself to Turkey) it does not remind me of Greece. Only natural landscape and weather does, and modern blocks, but the latter is common in many parts of the world. And people are far from looking like Greeks. Physically Turks look bulkier and more short faced. And in behavior, they are more traditional, conservative, gender gap is higher, and of course they are far more emotional than Greeks (Greeks are more rational). You even said "Greek wine is good": Turkish people rarely even drink wine, they rather drink a drink similar to arabic arak. Wine is a south European thing. Just like Greeks rarely drink tea, but turks and other oriental people prefer tea over coffee
Its not coincidence that Turkey has the politicians it has, who have a completely different mentality and government structure than Greek politicians: the citizens of the two countries have different mentality, and so they elect different government styles
Overall, Turkey is an oriental country in terms of society, culture and mentality, and even people's looks. Greece is southern EUROPEAN

Well I am Turkish and I've traveled to many places around the world. I absolutely have big respect for cultures and diversities. I love basically everywhere. So, there are countries I find quite interesting and feel like a bond between and some others which I feel quite distant but that's just an emotional thing, I can't find any rational explanation to that. Anyway, I adore Nordic countries, especially Denmark and Norway. Other than that I love Canada, Argentina, Uruguay, Australia, New Zealand, Portugal, France, South Korea...
