Let's face it together and say the facts as they are...
Let us describe the dispute between Bulgaria and North Macedonia in a German way, so that other Europeans can really understand the problem and the essence of the Bulgarian veto on the Republic of North Macedonia for the start of negotiations for accession to the European Union.
Hypothetically:
"Germany is an occupier of Bavaria because the Germans are fascists."
In other words, from the Macedonian side:
"Bulgaria is an occupier of Macedonia because the Bulgarians are fascists."
Let us remind to the public that the North Macedonians call the Bulgarians "Fascists" precisely because of the Germans!
Arsim Zekoli, an Albanian and former Macedonian ambassador to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and a prominent political analyst, said in an interview for Deutsche Welle:
"In North Macedonia, the fact that there were never any concentration camps in Bulgaria or Albania during the Second World War, while there were dozens and dozens in Yugoslavia, is scandalously ignored."
This is how, the so called "Macedonians" are using hate speech and insulting their place of origin!
And that is why, of course, they received without hesitation a red card and a huge VETO with pride from Bulgaria and its people.
Bulgarians would like to appeal to our European partners, instead of Republic of North Macedonia to join the European Union, Ethiopia to be invited to start negotiating for future accession!
This country is definitely with a predominant Christian population, a more democratic society with more European values than the worshipers of Macedonianism, Tito's Yugoslavia, Stalin and the Comintern - all of them, symbols of communism, brought only suffering and strife to the Balkans!
You may have forgotten, but the Bulgarian people know and remember both - the friendship and the betrayal on their backs by the Great Powers!
So, only they know better than anyone else about "The Macedonian Question" and can defend their national dignity with honor and pride!
It is also not subject to negotiation and trade, as politicians in North Macedonia think.
Reminder:
The honor of the thousands of Bulgarians who died for the Freedom of Macedonia is not subject to negotiations and never will be!
The Macedonian Bulgarians have always been one of our best Bulgarians in spirit and heart - proud, strong and unyielding!

There is no way, Bulgaria to let into the European Union those who have not officially recognized the genocide of the Bulgarians in then Tito's Yugoslavia, the desecration of Bulgarian monuments and shrines, as well as, the language of hatred, directed at the Bulgarian people and the state of Bulgaria, springing from all kinds of media.
The manipulation, distorted interpretation and the obvious
falsification of Bulgarian history, just to be shown that some "Macedonian" nation, created entirely in an artificial way is a real fact, exists and has a real basis on which to step are absolutely inadmissible and unacceptable!
By denying everything Bulgarian that existed before 1944 in these lands, to be established and solidified an entirely new identity of the local population, as Macedonians, through Macedonianism - an ideology which manages successfully to turn the regional affiliation of the Bulgarians from the Macedonian region into a national one, through a massive and long process, named Brainwashing.

Our history with North Macedonia before 1944 is not a common history or shared, but only Bulgarian, as well as our language had been always!

"The Slavic-speaking majority in the Region of Macedonia had been referred to (both, by themselves and outsiders) as Bulgarians, and that is how they were predominantly seen since 10th, up until the early 20th century."

This was a purposeful policy of the Comintern of Stalin, the regime in Belgrade and Tito's and Miloshevich Yugoslavia!
In the end, it will be reached an absurd paradox to look for a Macedonian minority in Bulgaria, when actually the Orthodox Macedonians from North Macedonia are Bulgarians by blood!

Reminder:
Any discucions or compromises with the Bulgarian history won't be made by Bulgaria and its people, because that means a total violation of the dignity and ideals of a state and a nation with more than 1,300 years of glorious and rich history! A country and nation with one of the oldest cultures in the world, also the oldest country in Europe since 681, but after San Marino and the first Slavic state in the world, together with its Cyrillic script, as well as with the first independent church in Europe from 927.
In that context, people around the globe may not know and do not care how Bulgarians disappear in Macedonia, but we know.
When a nation is not formed naturally, over time, but on the back of another nation, and through the ideology of its denial as origin and blood, and on top of that, through the theft of history by which to be creating a whole new identity through falsification of events, facts even people, is called in one word - Crime!
The people of North Macedonia must decide which is more important to them - EU membership or staying with the mythologies of Titovism and Macedonianism!
And if the short-sighted from the EU insist we, the Bulgarians, to recognize the existence of some "Macedonian" nation and its "great' but fake historical past, they should be also prepared, we to recognize Bavarians as a separate nation from the Germans, or the Corsicans from the French.
Or maybe, we should take it for granted that the Brothers Grimm were French writers who did not understand that they were French, but were French.
Probably only then, the Germans, rest Europeans and people around the globe will understand the Bulgarian position in reality, regarding the Macedonian Question!
Let's face it:
Only when Austrian and Swiss languages became officially separated from German, only then, Bulgarians can accept that the youngest language in Europe, coded in August 2, 1944 as Macedonian, is not a dialect of Bulgarian!
Whatever happened to them in Yugoslavia, the blood remains Bulgarian, despite the fact that the soul is poisoned and the mind is confused!
History and documents show what kind of people lived in these lands, namely Bulgarians!
And finally...
Let us recall the words of the great politician and president of France in the 20th century, Mr. Francois Mitterrand, who said:
“The Bulgarian people are one of the creators of civilization on our planet.
The Bogomils create the European Revival!"

North Macedonia should stop the hate and start teaching the citizens of North Macedonia the real history and about their real origins (Bulgarian origins that is). The doctrine of the establishment of a new "Macedonian nation" was first developed in a resolution of the Balkan Secretariat of the Executive Committee of the Communist International in Moscow on January 11, 1934.
On February 25, 1934, the document was registered under № 815 in the office of the Balkan Landercretariat of the Comintern.
The practical construction of the new "Macedonian nation" was entrusted to the Yugoslav Communist Party, which in turn created ASNOM/АСНОМ, a communist structure created as the Anti-Fascist Movement for the People's Liberation of Macedonia.
ASNOM, which turned the plan into reality after 1944 at the cost of 30,000 killed Bulgarians and spent over 130,000 other compatriots through the concentration camps in Idrizovo/Идризово and Goli Otok/Голи оток.
We will not forget, we will not forgive!

I live there and its really nice i recommend visiting either Ohrid,Struga or the capital Skopje.You are always welcome and pepole are nice and its pretty cheap

That country still is, extremely dependent on Serbia and continues to separate from Bulgaria, as practically there is virtually no communications between Skopje and Sofia.

The biggest problems in the Balkans other than the economies are nationalism and racism and this misguided notion of purity. If we can overcome all of these, the Balkans could be one of the most prosperous regions in Europe - as it should be in my opinion, why should a place with such an amazing amount of history die out?
Every country on the balkans suffer from the ill "complexed small country" syndrome. I.e. we use our distant history and racist approach towards every neighbour else to justify the shithole we live in and that it's always someone outside to blame. Bulgarians hate Turks, Turks hate Greeks, Macedonians hate Bulgarians, Albanians hate Macedonians etc.
I am from Greece and I thought that the most of the people would say that they hate Greece, but it turned out that I was wrong. I am so happy about that! 🇬🇷❤️🇲🇰

So i have ancestry from all these 3 countries. One day all of us on the Balkans will realize that we are very closely related and share almost the same worldview and roots. And the most important - same culture, which is unique ! We have to understand that we don't need to argue over who is better or first, because we are almost same people with common predecessors.
Yes we live in different countries with different names and it should remain like it is, but not to forget that we are close and were part of a large community in the past .
Politics must be set aside so the people to be able easily to understand who they really are! Don't let to be brainwashed just check for yourself in the evidences that pop up every single day and proving that something is went wrong with our relations and understandings in the past. No matter what everyone thinks about politics or whatsoever - I love Macedonia, Greece, Serbia, Romania and Turkey. I think every country have beautiful language, culture and people. I can't judge anyone who said that doesn't like Bulgaria, because I am Bulgarian and I'm proud of it, but even I don't like everyone of us.

I respect the majority of the Macedonians as much as any other nation, but that being said, I have zero empathy or love for those among them who would burn the Bulgarian flag! If they want to maintain a separate Macedonian regional national identity, and forge a separate future for them selves and their country, at this point I'm fine with that. Let them go their own way. Honestly, when people say they hate Macedonia, despite living there I completely agree. It's a bit different here, but I definitely see the good and bad side of it. I’ve visited all the countries around me and I’ve got to say it’s peaceful but very problematic as well.
