H H I enjoy it alot. My trips are usualy arround 200 to 300 km. And its great. As of today, not more expensive than the Suzuki GSX-R I use to own. No regrets getting that bike.
@@Manu-leel Not realy. I ride it to work sometimes, 180k ride. Ride with my daugther. Usualy less than 300k. Nothing to do with the bike, just that I don’t go for long trips. That is just my kind of riding I guess.

Hallo guten Tag, Ich wollte mal anfragen von welchem Hersteller deine Drossel ist. Da ich mir jetzt auch eine DUCATI Monster 1100 EVO hole. Da ich letztes Wochenende mit meiner BMW F800r bj 2017 umgefahren wurde und ein Totalschaden ist. Ich komme aus der Gegend Schweinfurt und fliege oft sterbfritz und Motten rum falls du mal Lust hast zusammen zu fahren.😁
Maximilian Neubert Erstmal gute Besserung und ich hoffe das dir nichts weiter passiert ist. Hatte selbst einen heftigen Unfall vor 2 Jahren das wünscht man keinem. Meine Drossel ist von AlphaTechnik, ist aber glaube ich auch die einzige auf dem Markt für die Evo. Klaro fahre auch oft Motten Sterbfritz Schlüchtern 👍🏻

Sehr schöne Maschine. Bin gerade auch am schauen ob sie mein nächstes Bike wird. Muss leider noch ein Jahr gedrosselt fahren. Wie ist es mit dem Gasanschlag mit drossel, auch wegen dem Zwischengas beim runterschalten?
Drossel ist natürlich spürbar aber man gewöhnt sich schnell daran. Man hat trotzdem noch genug Gasweg und kann eigentlich alle Gänge bis auf den 6. locker ausdrehen. Zwischengas ist überhaupt kein Problem Hoffe ich konnte dir weiterhelfen!

Fel thx Dankeschön:) Bin jetzt fertig mit meinem Abi habe wieder vor Videos zu machen👍🏻 Topspeed hatte ich sie auf 210 kmh laut Tacho aber habe sie auch kürzer Übersetzt für bessere Fahrbarkeit in Spitzkehren und in der Stadt. Wartung mache ich selbst bis auf den Zahnriemenwechsel da liegst du so bei 270-300€
@@Rellek 210 mit drossel ist doch Hammer. Hab gerade noch rausgefunden das sie mit 95db Standgeräusch sogar noch in Tirol fahren darf, was für mich (wohne in München) nicht ganz unwichtig wäre. Wegen der Wartung muss ich Mal mit einem Schrauber reden. Der hat selber eine 1100 evo hypermotard vlt kennt er ja wen🤙🏼 ansonsten herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Abi und ich freue mich auf Videos. Ich hab leider noch bis 15.07 Prüfungen aber danach wird dann ein neues Moped besorgt.

Ich kann dir leider nicht mehr sagen welcher Lenker das war :/ Habe die Maschine auch verkauft mittlerweile. Im Gegensatz zum normalen Lenker saß man auf jeden Fall sportlicher und mehr Vorderrad orientiert.

Hey, das sind Rizoma Fakes aus China ;) Sehen aus wie die originalen kosten aber nur ca. 25€. Sehe nicht ein 200€ für nicht zugelassene Spiegel zu bezahlen.
Vinzenz hemker Servus, Bin noch keine 796 gefahren aber wenn du das Kleingeld hast, hol dir die 1100. Du hast auf jeden Fall mehr Drehmoment und das bessere Fahrwerk.
Joe Hannes Möchte dazu wenn die Saison losgeht noch ein ausführliches Video machen aber kurz: Die Monster mit ihrem Drehmoment ist schneller als alles andere was ich bisher auf A2 gefahren bin bei weitem! Die MT07 sowie 790 Duke haben keine Chance

@@BAR1E Naja ist auch nur die halbe Wahrheit. Das Drehmoment unten raus war halt mega geil bei der 1100er da kann ne gedrosselte 790 nicht mithalten. Beschleunigung am Gang war sehr ähnlich das stimmt. Denke oben raus wäre die Monster dann wieder schneller. Lief ja so 205-210kmh mit der Drossel

Well I bought one in march (coming back to enjoy the engine sound off - season 🤤) and to be honest I underestimated the maintenance - costs. I paid 1100€ for the 36000km service, 400€ for a new set of tyres and thats without the costs of fuel and insurance per season. So if you buy one, be sure you can afford the running costs! If so, its one of the best bikes for the street, I absolutely love it!!
@@leoneckert619 36000km service also includes valve check right? I only paid like 250€ for the Belt service thats why I said it isnt as expensive as you might think.
@@leoneckert619 That's my biggest fear is the damn desmo service. I found one near me, a used 2012 1100 evo with 16k miles on it, for about 6500. Not sure what to offer for it or should I just keep walking. LoL.
Havent had a chance to ride a mt09 but I can guarantee you the Evo has a lot more grunt in the low an midrange while the mt09 has more top end power hat a smoother running engine overall.
@Rellek I just recently bought myself Monster 1100 (2009) pre Evo model. And honestly that bike is awesome for the regular roads. Before purchase I was worried that 95 hp would not be enough as I also have gsxr 1000 K1. But till around 6500 revs monster makes more torque and more hp than GSXR and it has instant power even from 3000 revs were gsxr is still completely dead. On the road and tight corners on second gear monster is more fun than gsxr as it has instant power and honestly I don't rev very often gsxr past 7000-8000 revs so in the end even 95 HP of monster seems adequate for the rode (might be different story at the track). I was just thinking that mt 09 might be better choice than monster 1100 but honestly I think it is much better to have low end and midrange power than top end as I don't rev engine to its limits on the regular road. With weight to power ratio air cooled monster seems to be one of most fun bikes for the road. And the sound of that engines is awesome when down shifting and rev matching. I just want to ride it more and compare it next year to some newer motorcycles like MT 09, MT 10, Superduke, Tuono........
@@Rellek Yeah I can imagine how good is Tuono especially that V4 sound is amazing! Want to test ride it someday in the future. But which bike you prefer for the road? Tuono should have the same grunt as Monster but top end power is incomparable.
@@alexandrnikiti5895 Depends.. With the Monster you can take it slower on days where you dont feel like pushing yourself and the bike. The Tuono on the other hand just wants you to give it the beans :) It likes to scream and riding it slow isnt any fun. Also its a lot less comfortable.

Na das musst du mir aber erklären :) Gangwechsel sind keines Wegs übertrieben da die Maschine zu dem Zeitpunkt auf 48ps gedrosselt war. Trotzdem macht deine Aussage „arme Mechanik“ keinen Sinn. Ich gehe stark davon aus, dass die italienischen Mechaniker in der Lage waren ein Getriebe zu entwickeln, welches auch geschaltet werden darf? Du tust so als hätte ich die Gänge ohne Kupplung und Gefühl reingehämmert. So eine Aussage auf Grund eines Videos überhaupt zu tätigen finde ich schon sehr fragwürdig. Lg
Im guessing you have never ridden the 1100 engine then. If you dont keep it up in the revs its hard to keep a clean line because down low it starts to jerk. Also it was limited by european A2 license at the time (48hp) so that doesnt help either.
@@Rellek rode over 50k on an S2R 1000 and I know they are both very similar as a friend has the evo. Just different riding styles i think bro i would have just eased off the throttle but stayed Faster rather than down shift into many of those bends. You only really need to down shift prior to going into bends that are considerably tighter than on this route youve shown, but again maybe just different styles. Still thinking of getting the evo over a 1200. Will need to ride them both first. Great vid 👍🏼

no the Rizoma risers only bring the handlebars down but not towards you. Gives you a more aggressive riding position

When you turn you handlebars all the way, does it touch the tank?????
I have a 2013 m1100 evo and need bar risers. Just don’t know what to get or if it will touch the tank if I raise it…

@@alexandrnikiti5895 Yeah on the street its all about the torque. I also have a 2016 Tuono and let me tell you its a completely different monster
@@Rellek Yeah I can imagine how good is Tuono especially that V4 sound is amazing! Want to test ride it someday in the future. But which bike you prefer for the road? Tuono should have the same grunt as Monster but top end power is incomparable.
@@alexandrnikiti5895 Depends.. With the Monster you can take it slower on days where you dont feel like pushing yourself and the bike. The Tuono on the other hand just wants you to give it the beans :) It likes to scream and riding it slow isnt any fun. Also its a lot less comfortable.

Also von Dir würde ich mir keine gebrauchte Duc kaufen. Du übertreibst es völlig mit den Gang- und Lastwechseln. Arme Mechanik….
Na das musst du mir aber erklären :) Gangwechsel sind keines Wegs übertrieben da die Maschine zu dem Zeitpunkt auf 48ps gedrosselt war.
Trotzdem macht deine Aussage „arme Mechanik“ keinen Sinn. Ich gehe stark davon aus, dass die italienischen Mechaniker in der Lage waren ein Getriebe zu entwickeln, welches auch geschaltet werden darf? Du tust so als hätte ich die Gänge ohne Kupplung und Gefühl reingehämmert.
So eine Aussage auf Grund eines Videos überhaupt zu tätigen finde ich schon sehr fragwürdig.

Lots of unecessary down shifting
Im guessing you have never ridden the 1100 engine then. If you dont keep it up in the revs its hard to keep a clean line because down low it starts to jerk.
Also it was limited by european A2 license at the time (48hp) so that doesnt help either.
@@Rellek rode over 50k on an S2R 1000 and I know they are both very similar as a friend has the evo. Just different riding styles i think bro i would have just eased off the throttle but stayed Faster rather than down shift into many of those bends. You only really need to down shift prior to going into bends that are considerably tighter than on this route youve shown, but again maybe just different styles. Still thinking of getting the evo over a 1200. Will need to ride them both first. Great vid 👍🏼
