Hey guys! It's been a couple of months since the debut of Cross Academy, and we all want to express that we still appreciate your support and kind words for the series. You might've noticed that we haven't posted anything since then, as we were all busy wrestling with the balance patch among other personal obligations. Rest assured we have a few videos in the works, and we're trying our best to keep the quality in-line with what you have seen before. This is a passion project for all of us involved, and we hope to deliver on it. - The Cross Academy team
This is really good, props! This was entry level but was still worth the watch and the quality and production was top notch. You said just enough information to get the point across without meandering. I really look forward to the next videos
Oh sweet! Glad I found this channel because this video basically gave a lot of light on many of the mechanics in this game, can't wait to see what else is in store
Wow! Fantastic production value, solid content in the video, and an overall great approach to teaching people to play this newly blossoming game. I hope that the game enjoys expanded growth and that you guys grow with it. I will definitely be subscribing and following your work, as well as telling my friends who play the game to check you guys out. Cannot wait to see intermediate videos covering combos, team and mechanic synergy, and getting the most out of your
You forgot to add that the Resonance has invisible frames that help you avoid the damage, leading you to counterattacks of your choice. Resonance has another good factor, which gives + on everything and helps you cancel even the specials into supers into supers. Same goes for some characters' supers, like Ruby's, that CAN punish other characters' supers.
I am too used to Smash Bros' simplicity and I am a Simp for chie so I got this game. I never thought I'd play something akin to a traditional fighting game. I just mash and pray I get something off.
Wow, such profesional video! It has great production values, looks great, flows great, and kudos to the voice over narrator who does an awesome job of being both clear and entertaining. Seriously, insta-subscribe.
Well, technically reject guards have no weaknesses. Like you can react to any attack and reject guard it 100% unlike the example shown which implies the opposite. That's also a bit of an awkward example to show for a reject guard weakness since it's a failed reject attempt on an assist when it is usually a poor idea to reject an assist. So try to avoid some suboptimal examples like that in future videos. Though I know how much of a pain in the ass it can be to produce videos like this without any errors. I'm interested in seeing videos on more esoteric topics SKD has covered like resource management and team order. Or maybe not since I wanted to do that. Commentary is cool, but more enthusiasm would be better. That's just my take though. I know an intended tone is succesfully being set here with the commentary.
