I was really considering to go to a repair shop until I saw this video. All worked out perfectly and for 1/5 of the price. My son is happy and I'm happy. Thanks for the video!!!
I think the heat pad may have made it easier to remove the rear cover, took me longer than expected! The customer damage defo helps! Mine was by the SIM tray which was where I started my prying. Once the cover is off, it's easy as pie. The antenna version is slightly fiddlier due to the connector, but still.very do-able. Grateful for knowing the screws are the same size as they are damn fiddly to see/handle. Next challenge is the screen on my other nephew's identical tablet. Hopefully I'll be able to find a full screen assembly rather than swap out the screen itself. Thanks Rick :-)
Hey, so I followed this to a tee, and with the charging port, it worked. However, when taking off the speaker to remove the battery connection, I put the loud speaker back in, and no matter how I reinsert it, the sound is warped, like if you are flipping radio stations with static. Any suggestions?

Easy to follow guide. I bought my parts off Amazon. Took me 15 minutes to swap out the board. 😊
Good job

Can you please tell me what exact replacement board you used and where you got it?

Check to see if the pins are bent out enough to make contact, possible damaged the loud speaker when getting it out
Did you have the speaker stuck to any larger magnets while it was disassembled?
You might have damaged the membranes.
Thanks bud. This was easier than I thought.
Cheers
