Thank you for all the info Bailey! I love junk journalling ... so much so that I have opened my own junk journal shop on Etsy 😍 Still early days but I am starting to get sales which is very exciting!!
The AI Digital Product Sales community would definitely be more beneficial for this type of shop compared to the Design Club and info can be found here:) www.skool.com/ai-digital-income-streams/about
Hi Bailey. When starting out, do you recommend testing various digital products or starting with one? I have a niche (mental wellbeing/self development/self care & love) that I would like to tap into and have just opened a store. I have ebooks and planners to stat listing but really would love to get into other digital products too. Is it best to start with one type of digital product and take it from there? Or doing a variety of digital products is fine when first starting? Thank you
You are such a wealth of knowledge. I did not know that junk journaling was a digital business. In fact, up until very recently, I never even heard of junk journaling. Thanks for the info!
Hi, I love your content and you are very inspiring. However, you have suggested here very very oversaturated broad niches - svg and png stores, and wall art?? I've been doing this for years and these are almost impossible to step into. Can you do more specific ideas video? Thank you.
Thanks! I've also been doing this for years as well and have many niche specific videos on the channel. This video is meant to be a broad overview, though I will say that they are not impossible to step into as I have many members who have reached over 100 sales within these niches within the first month of starting, it just requires the right strategy :)
I have a POD shop on Etsy actually 2 and do Amazon. While the shirts on 1 shop and cups on the other are gratification when someone talks how much they love them but it is a lot of work. I just started a month ago selling my PNG and now doing some SVG (I had some old ones on my shop that has always done well) I have a Cricut and use to make them for myself. I enjoy it cause I make about the same per item and once it sells there no worrying about if someone is going to like their order and want to return if not. I have been doing well with the digital products. It actually gives me more time for designing.

Hi Bailey! Love your videos. I am also a part of your Facebook community and your email list. Don't know if you mentioned it in a previous video but what was the reason you stopped print on demand? I know it's overall less effort with digital products after you put in the work, but seems your print on demand was successful too. Just wondering. TIA!❤
Thanks! It was great and profitable, it was a just a personalized shop, so every order had to be personalized manually before sending to production. Just ended up being too time-consuming and I just didn't feel very creative copy/pasting all day, lol :)

you cant use svg for sublimation. svg is cut files used with cricket or other cutting software tools to place on your shirts, cups, keychains or whatever you want to apply them to but they cant be sublimated. Hope that helps
Let me explain it as a graphic designer - SVG is a vector graphic, it can expand to any size without losing their resolution - all design elements are separated so you can change the color of each element or use a cutting machine to cut it separately; but also there is no problem to print/cut it as one whole piece. Software used for it is like Adobe Illustrator (paid) or Inkscape (free), you can convert jpg/PNG into SVG but with complicated deigsng it doesn't work well on autopilot. - PNG are flat images with limited ability to resize, changing 100px to 1000px will left you with pixelated quality (blurry, not sharp image), you can't edit elements without selecting tool, you need to use for edition tools like Adobe Photoshop or Gimp You can use both for sublimation and cutting all depends on what you wish to create. Usually SVG is used for simple designs with the option to customize design elements like vector picture of girl when you can change with one click her hair color or eyeglasses add name and you are ready to print/cut. PNG for example would be the image of watercolor painting of the girl or photography, something more complicated. *Also saving PNG file as SVG won't make it automatically vector image with separated elements.
Hey there! Yes, many people are successful with t-shirt POD shops on Etsy. One of my previous shops was a custom shirt shop that did very well, I just did not enjoy the customization part.
I first heard about junk journals from a channel ThatJessab. Other than that, you’re the only one I’ve heard talking about - I don’t think I fully understand what junk journals are.
Hey, I noticed that you haven't been uploading any short videos on your channel. If you don't mind, can I take your long-form content and create different short videos from it? If you're interested, please provide me with your contact information. Thanks!

Love listening to you, thank you Bailey!! Yes I am a past physical scrapbooker and Junk Journaling was back then too. Lovely to have it digital now.
You are so welcome and so crazy that scrapbooking and junk journaling can be digital now :)
I love junk journals! I make them for my shop.
Yes, they are so fun! :)
Back in the early web/blog design days we used scrapbooking kits a LOT for designing pages and headers - fun to see it making a comeback
Thanks, Bailey, for this video! I was thinking of adding stickers to my SVG shop on Etsy to experiment with the hybrid shop idea you mentioned.

Hey there, Sublimation files are different than SVG files and saved as PNG files and aren't compatible with cutting machines. :)

Yeah, they're surprisingly really popular to make in the crafting world:) I first learned about them on TikTok, lol :)
It’s like doing scrapbook but more like a collages of interesting images with textures, objects into an art form.
