Srsly sold the manga for me.
From what I can understand about this side story is it's reusing a lot of composition frames and sketches that Itigaki uses for baki as well.
Strongest version of Retsu vs Weakest version of Yujiro. Not a bad win for Retsu.
Retsu the martial artist should be the name of his verse.
damn 4000 year old Chinese martial arts is truly on different level...it was able to put the orge(lvl 1 yujiro) down
Retsu wasn’t even buffed. Its just that he wasn’t prepared or as smart as Baki when he faced Pickle. And losing his leg left him handicapped when he faced Miyamoto.
The main cast of Baki are insanely powerful. Put them in Game of Thrones and they each would be like Yujiro is to the world.

It is a side story showcasing Retsu's ability in the afterlife. Not sure if this is going to be canon though 💯
