It was only years later that I realized this was actually a kind of clever inside joke: In the original James Bond film "Goldfinger", the actor that that played Auric Goldfinger, Gert Frobe, had such a thick accent that his lines were considered incomprehensible and needed to be dubbed over in post-production.
Yeah I spent two years in Holland and he's pretty spot on. Tobacco products and breakfast foods are also a big part of their culture (or were when i was there)
I don't care how many "cinephiles" scoff at his work, Myers is operating at Peter Sellers-levels of comedic genius in this film. One of the all time great comedic performances.
I never really liked the acting behind the character Austin Powers. Maybe that's the way he's supposed to be but nevertheless. It's definitely very good but Goldmember yes there I can agree with you that we're starting to see Sellers in the horizon
