- Acheron is an insane DPS character at E0S1 and definitely a contender for the best DPS character in the game. Here's a showcase video of what she can do and with some proper team comps. This is a preview for the upcoming character Acheron coming in Honkai Star Rail 2.1.

Yeah they send a straight message to leakers in special program and decided to leak officially
They basically decided to allow content creators on the CC private server to post "early access footage", as they like to call it, as long as it goes to Mihoyo first so they can approve it.
CCs can't blantanly call a unit bad (even in the rare chance they are) and must always show pros, and cons of a character which I think is generally fair.
Overall I think this is a massive step in the right direction for everybody, only problem is that this early access footage can only be released after the official livestream so usually a week or so before the actual patch. For people who don't look at leaks, that's not enough time to prefarm at all but this still is better than nothing.

hoyo recently made a change for both HSR and Genshin beta server rules, content creators can now showcase characters before release, so for example if iwtl wanted to showcase arle early he could
but i think the time period is when they are 1 week away from the characters banner as by then the chances of a change being done are low

@sageofsixpaths8392 I want to say your wrong there bud I highly doubt she'll be powercreeped for long while given that she has colorless breaking system for her burst and res pen plus she can additionally spam that burst repeatedly, given puts out number nearly more than jungliu in her near perfect team with a fp2 team with pela it's insane she just needs one really good applicator for debuffs that can also sustain and is nihility like welt but better then she will become even stronger given she cat can run raun mei and sparkle or raun mei and pella allowing for isaine nukes back to back, her burst uptime being dependent on her teammates speed is also insane plus most of her best teammates are free,
its good to finally see early access footage of characters with a proper teams with thought put into them instead of whatever the leakers tend to cook with their team choices

they are like, don' t watch leak we will give you our own leak in time so you can decide.
I think Hoyo realized that leaks and theorycraft are inevitable. So they rather leak correct info, instead of assumptions or wrong info from the leakers.
People tend to expect something even before the update, then get disappointed if the update didn't live-up to their expectation 'cuz of leaks and ruined the fun.
if you can't stop the leakage, just put a faucet in water the tank to satisfy the thirsty masses

I recently lost to Gepard, so seeing that Black Swan and Pela Team Comp made me optimistic about pulling Acheron. I have all Nihility characters except Kafka and Silver Wolf.

... okay, nice video but. How in the actual rainblade do you think the average player is going to get 3 characters to 160+ speed? With theor signature lc's? Also, based on the very savage and crude leakers, her damage is very high but its never been that insane with those stats. Idk if im missing something so i would like someone to explain.
She has always been this insane. She already did Aventurine 2mil hp zero cycle for the next moc in a vid I saw. Cn theory crafters are even concerned about power creep because of her. Two nihi one sustain is balance but no sustain is just broken for her. Even more so than any other dps because of her ridiculous dmg boost trace and ridiculous ult.
@kaseyatakahashi9753 Yes, her damage is insane. But taking into account that his acheron definitely isn't the best one I've seen, her damage is just a tad bit higher than the ones that supposedly have better stats. Either something about her has changed from the leaks or something outside of her kit is buffing her. It's not a big difference, but it's definitely noticeable. Also, I did take into account anti sustain teams, and it still shouldn't be doing that much damage with the buffs he is using.
All five star he used were e0 s1 so Archeron is getting all types of dmg multiplier on top of 100 def shred so insane amount of buffing as well but you are right. I couldn't believe the first time I saw moc 12 2 0 cycle. Can't wait to test her myself.

I know most are very excited that she is very strong, but if this ends up being the average damage achieved by an Acheron E0S1 then it will be terrible news for the health of the game's balance...
It wont be, this moc is filled with dot buf if you kill the pig it gived dot to all enemies, dot is a debuff so shes hitting much more than she should, God Doggo has a more realistic video
@@haruyanto8085 I mean, yeah, but the dots would only help her get the burst sooner but they don't influence the actual damage she does at all.
and one could even say that a triple support setup is still a bit unrealistic for an average player, but even if we take Sparkle out and she ends up doing about 600-700k per burst it's still ridiculously high damage, and this considering that the main target of that burst is an enemy (the Disciple of Sanctus Medicus) with high lightning resistances, so in most situations it'll be considerably higher...

Other LC that she could use is GNSW, Fermata is an option but requires others that applies DoT shock or wind shear. Her LC options are pretty limited so far which might change in the future but pulling for her LC if you have currency to spare is better than getting more of her Eidolons first.

Hoyo is making it hard for me to stick to my decision but I will stay strong and go for adventurine cause I like FuA. Can’t wait for the adventurine video a week before he comes out. All Acheron mains are eating good if she capable of this much damage at E0. Hopefully FuA teams get a unit this good in the future

If you think you can make it E2 is pretty broken on her. SW's LC will perform pretty well. It just depends on how much you want to invest. I think E2 is better than lightcone but it is without a doubt more expensive
sw sig gives her stack after ultimate while her sig doesnt. try it and see how she performs with it before getting sig

One thing i'm starting to dislike about Star Rail is that some older characters like Seele are already nearly worthless after 1 year. Coming from Genshin and seeing the good power balance over there, seeing the difference between Acheron and Seele is insane.
Think about this Archeron has 90 dmg boost and 20 res pen compare to seele 80 and 20. And Archeron ult st is 825.5st and 480 aoe compare to seele 425 st.

Honestly now im scared how strong Sam will be on release. With the reputation Destruction units have on being overpowered on release i am wondering what they will need to cook up in order to make him stronger than Acheron.
He also might have synergy with Acheron with being able to apply Burn constantly. I see alot of potential in her just being a really good flex slot and doing big damage.
Finally someone who talks about Mei HoT rather than raiden shogun
The biggest issue I with this is that it seems like her ideal teams are heavily reliant on other hard to pull five star characters. Running her with Sparkle for example, Sparkle is literally running right before Acheron so f2p players are not likely to be able to get them both. Then there also Silver Wolf and those of us unlucky enough to have not gotten her will definitely feel that sting. Then in the PF team she is pair with Black Swan, yet another character that was closely placed to Acheron's release. Sure Pela works well with her too but its pretty clear that you either need to get Acheron to E2 so you can get her full damage bonus or a whole host of other 5 stars that would be difficult to get unless you pumped money into the game or wait a long time for their rerun since most of them just released.
For all of the massive improvements HSR made over Genshin the scheming behind how the banners rotate is still evident.
Oh well, she will still likely be an extremely powerful DPS. I might not be 0 cycling MoC but she should at least let let me beat it if I build Pela up.
I am f2p and I have all the harmony units and yes I lost every 50/50 before sparkle. Just save and plan better.

sampo and guinafen for example, even hook and luka, they can all apply debuffs. (sampo being the best option imo) won’t be her best team ofc, but it’s not… meant to be, since they want to sell as much as possible.
that being said we’re spoiled by genshin having so many good f2p units, tho that was mostly a mistake on their part.
tho march, herta, gepard & himeko go hard, teams are much more restrictive in hsr so they feel worse overall
it also looks like acheron isn’t actually THAT strong, things are just highly inflated in this video with supports having their sig LCs. i wonder if part of the deal w release was IWTL not mentioning how much this inflates numbers and how the MOC is catered…
I would get her on my main but the problem is there are characters i like more even tho they arent dmg dealers(i am infact in desperate need for dmg dealers). I like Aventurine as a character more so im going for him.

Since i don't pull on lightcone banner because i have really bad luck (lost 5 50-50s in a row) and only buy express pass, I'll just wait after her release and watch various E0S0 showcases to decide if i want to pull her or not.
Don't get me wrong, i really like everything about her but the signature LC requirement is making me have second doubts about pulling her.
