Hi Marco ,this is an Exotic Butterfly when we went to a Butterfly Sanctuary near us ,it has a very warm and humid atmosphere and made me feel joyful to see the marvellous butterflies but sleepy as well Lol ! Have a beautiful week ahead Shaz xxx 🥰💗💗💗
What an amazing butterfly. Not only does does it look like an owl, but Jane thought that the clip around 2:18 made the one above at the top look like a snake emerging from behind the leaf! You got some fantastic shots and clips. We loved this. Mike and Jane x
Good afternoon Shaz! Unfortunately I had a bad two weeks due to my mother's family health problems (she had a venous thrombosis) and I was away and off the internet. I see now the continuation of your video on the butterfly house. Caligo telamonius memnon, commonly known as the giant owl or the pale owl (they are butterflies with crepuscular habits, so they usually fly in the early morning and in the evening. It has an ocellar spot, which simulates the eye of an owl), is a subspecies of butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. This subspecies is found in rainforests and secondary forests from Mexico to the Amazon rainforest in South America, Argentina, and Suriname. There are several similar species and they differ in their cryptic camouflage and always have googly eyes. I also really like the black one with white spots and electric blue decorations, and also the green one. Have a nice weekend to you and Terry

These butterflies are wonderful, the eyes on the wings are so realistic.
