"Hokkaido, the pumpkin island" was my first thought when i read the videotitle. It gives so many delicious Food with pumpkin as ingridience.🤤 Thank you for this awesome Video. 👍
🤣 well, I’ll say there are a lot of trees in both places, but the volcanoes (active and prominent) and coastline definitely are unique. What did they say about visiting?
@@OurStorytoTell Oh he absolutely loved it. Did a whole two week round-trip all over Hokkaido, basically doing _every_ tourist thing there is. He even went to some remote little island to visit the shooting location of a completely obscure tv-show he loved. Apparently even the locals had never heard of it and were befuddled about why anyone would visit their island. 🤣
In the Tokachi region of Hokkaido, there used to be a theme park based on traditional German architecture because the scenery there resembled German rural areas. And as a Japanese person from Hokkaido, when I traveled from Hokkaido to the UK 10 years ago, my first impression was also "this place looks like Hokkaido."
Beautiful countryside. The dairy stop was interesting. And yes, unpasteurized milk you need to shake well to mix the cream back in..😂 ask me how i know😂😂. Grew up with that kind of milk (we had a couple milk cows plus a dairy down the road). That little bottle brought back some great memories. The type of cow and what she eats make a big difference in taste. Y'all are really showing all the great places to see in Japan. Thank you for sharing your memories and your lives with us. Hugs from Texas.
I visited Hokkaido this summer, it was awesome. Hope you enjoyed it too!
Such a beautiful place! We really enjoyed it!
Ahh so cool! Yes it’s an easy place to love! 😍
good thing the siren didn't go off when you were on the volcano, haha. In any case, you always deserve the best ice cream, especially Willa and Noa.
Being in such a natural disaster prone country, we wonder if it will happen one of these days, but we hope not!

Oh yeah? She is our first of course so we don’t really know! But thank you!! 😊 She is so great!!
I've never been to Hokkaido myself, but a friend showed me pictures from his trip...90% of it looked just like Germany. 😂
Haha we could see that too! Definitely a favorite location for us in Japan! 🥰

Thank you 😊 Glad it could bring back some memories for you! We really enjoyed our time there and seeing a different part of the country was fun!
Hokkaido is a nice place, but Kyushu is also quite unique. The food is delicious and there are many hot springs. Please go and check it out.
Oooh we have never heard of Kyushu so looking into it now!! 😋 Thank you!
We’ve heard that as well! We’ll have to make it down there sometime.
If I haven't said it before, you take some really cool drone shots, Tanner.
Hey thank you!! 😊
Ghost of Yotei ❤️🙌🏻
Honestly had to look up what that was!
@@OurStorytoTellCool that gamers are being more geographically savvy 🙂
Okinawa and isolated islands there! Unbelievable beach there ! Please check ❤
Ahhh we went to go to Okinawa so bad!!
Looks like Sweden
It has many similarities!
Any volcanoes in Sweden?😅
@@van03de I don't live in Sweden, but I think there are a lot of volcanoes there as well
The oldest really loves the camera ... 😂
She’s becoming quite the personality 😆, and we love seeing her experts herself.
@@OurStorytoTell expertly express herself 😉

Soo fast!!
