    I've used tea lights on the outside edges of maps just to set the mood. I hadn't thought to craft them into something that I could use IN the maps! Great video!

    My secret passage video intro is lit with proper ones (actual fire!)

    What you should do is remove the plastic flame of the tea light. That way you get more light from your tea lights then go over the led light with the hot glue to get your textured flames.

    Good job! I have used the tea lights in my 3D settings, but I recede them into the floor, get JUST the flame on the playing surface. I've put them under campfires, cooking fires, tavern fires, even conjuring circles :-)
    Cheers mate

    I was just thinking of doing this for camp fires, nice to see it in action.

    Haha! I just did this last week. However, I did take off the case to make it smaller. This caused some small problems with the switch, but it wasn't too hard to remedy. I'll upload some pictures to the forum, upon request, if anyone is curious how it turned out.

    But in this case I don't you need the glow effect sense it's already glowing. :)

  • @gamesdisk
    @gamesdisk 10 років тому +1

    Ok, I was worried that you where using the real ones

  • @tuckertcs
    @tuckertcs 10 років тому

    No offense but one thing you do a lot is you over do the glow effect. Just but it on lightly and make it fade away not just stop right away.
