Man, you know there's 50s in there. You're young enough you could break your own record 5 times. You can't quit now. Get that damn stupid record. Do it. They're there, that deep spot by the bridge. You have it all figured out already. Those tubes, jigging, you got this. You better get that record.
Awesome Series Fellas! Jons reaction after landing those skis is exactly why Musky fishing is so addicting! You don't get that buzz from bass and trout. When it takes days to get one bite and you land a big musky, thats a special kind of fun! Cheers Fellas! Keep catchin em up!
Superb 2 part series. Absolutely loved watching you guys trying to beat the record. And you came darn close I must say. Congrats!! I'd love to see you go after more records like this one. It was really fun to watch and really kept my attention. Thank you very much.
Definitely my favorite fish. only fish that will get your heart pumping like crazy even if you don't hook up. Thanks Jon B for bringing us along on such a great fishing trip. Jon B your the best!!!!
Yessssssirrrrr!!!!! As a Mainer I honestly don’t understand why we kill these fish. Muskie are some amazing fish and probably one of the most fun and rewarding. Even if it does take 10,000 casts. 🐟 🎣
Love the enthusiasm boys. I remember the excitement of landing my 47 inch Tiger Muskie in Canada back in 2015. NOTHING on this planet compares, especially to those of us who grew up fishing in the area. I do have my fight video posted on my channel, unfortunately not the same quality of your videos but definitely check it out!
should come trout fishing in New Zealand in the south island and try and catch a giant rainbow or brown trout biggest fish that i have personally seen be cought out of the canals was by my dad the fish was 28.8 pounds broke our scales had to borrow some from the guy just down from us
Thank you for leave for releasing them fish john.. grant that was pretty cool the camera angle down in the water with that muskie.. I was going to recommend John have you eat four or five maybe six ghost peppers, and then for you to drink a gallon of instant mimosas made out of that river water in track you behind the boat😂 you did say the more strange the more we're the more unusual way you fish for the musky the better your chances of catching them right???? I pretty much guarantee you no one's doing five or six ghost peppers with instant mimosas from Maine River water.. 🤙👏🤑💯
I really like the respect you show to the fish. In the UK we call them pike and every lake has a legendary pike. This video has made me wonder why the US and the UK(some other countries aswell)have this fish in common?? Can't think of another except the carp that was introduced by man
Jon B. love to see your Musky content and all your Maine adventures. Since you are allowed 2 lines per person in Maine, you could try to put our a Fallfish or two on a quickstrick rig while you are casting or jigging. I love those Red October Tubes. Great Musky baits.
“ I’ve got a Sickness, I’ve got a disease it’s called musky stupidity!” I died, Congrats man, Musky are so hard to Catch!! Happy Thanksgiving to You And The Fam
musky fishing seems like striper fishing for me, years of fishing with my dad as a kid, never being able to actually catch one but I will always remember the moment him and I were fishing when I caught one, and will never forget catching a good sized one this summer. Just those single moments no matter how many times you get skunked make it all worth it.
cant believe the thinking that Maine has for the muskie. barra(spring/summer) n murray cod(winter chase) can give u the perfect person for either one of those. ledge GTs with briggsy n cavy. all them r gud n u have chased them all if i remember rightly, long ago.
That's an amazing couple of days fishing. My biggest pike in Ireland is just a tad over 30lbs but man I would love to have a musky under my belt. Love the videos as always. Stay safe out there.
Awesome catches! Musky grind is absolutely real. You guys did awesome for a 6 day trip. I've been on plenty on trips to catch zero fish. From my knowledge on musky when the fins start to turn red like that the fish is showing signs of major distress. Not saying you were doing anything wrong. Some fish do it very easily and some do not do it at all. These fish are a different breed 😂 again amazing fish for one hell of a trip!
Can we just take a trip back down memory lane when Grant was first brought to the channel as a kid that told jon to come fish with because he catches giants lol
Please get a musky bump board. Lee's Lures, T's Tackle etc. I think both the fish were mid to upper forties. They can fluctuate an inch or more on top of a board. Just by switchin tips on the tail or even keeping them totaly straight. Did you weigh the last one in the net. Like you did on the first fish? The pics made it look larger than 45" for sure. But fish eye lenses do that.... Great episode!!! @ Jon B.
Have you ever thought of taking a trip to Ontario to fish the Niagara river in October for salmon and trout or the winter for the steelhead browns and lakers?

Yes sr id love to see a 50 out of maine
💯💯
Man another Australia mission would be so cool, or some GT action
@RABassin I like your videos
you should do and australia trip aswell get some huge murry cod
Clouds/ nasty weather= big fish.
Love the musky videos man. Hope maybe this sheds some light on how special this fishery is and maybe makes people rethink the hate.
The redness on their fins happens when they get stressed out
Really,never knew that
@@Dog-wl4tbbecause it doesnt its about the lightness and darkness of the water and genetics itself

Grats on the PB Musky Jon what a grinder but the grind always pays off. Never stop bro 🔥
16:48 the state record breaches the surface, this is the first for sure visual of it
Thanks! Happy Thanksgiving Man 🦃🇺🇸
Happy thanks giving! May there be some giant fish headed your way this fall. KFNS
Fantastic stuff dude. More Muskie action!
Keep Musky fishing; it's some of my favorite content you put out. Also, I think it would be cool to see some big pike fishing.
Hey Jon, loved the new videos. Personally I've wanted you to Musky videos since the beginning! But ya please do more, day one supporter here!🎉

GOOD STUFF! If you still have the itch for musky after this, definitely consider Otisco Lake in the Finger Lakes region of NY if you haven't already.

Congrats. Never stop!
Grant the typa guy to spend $900 on musky gear and switch to bass fishing 1 hour after no bites
Brook trout over a Lung. Are you kidding me. Warms my heart to hear the trout guys crying.
That was crazy to watch and will continue to enjoy this type of fishing
Fisherman to fisherman, i love you Jon B.

Love the Musky videos. Mostly because we dont have them in South Carolina. A Gar mission would be fun, maybe long nose.
