    I have trouble finding what heal button to press when I have no major cds and no holy shock charges

    • @Jickolas
      @Jickolas  2 місяці тому

      That can be tricky. When that happens to me and my team is in danger, I normally default to hardcasting Holy Light (especially if buffed by infusion/divine favor). If they're not in danger, I just press other rotational buttons (judgment/cs/consecration) to build power normally and deal with healing them later.
      If you do find yourself without healing or cds ready when big dam comes out, you're gunna have a bad time. Try to space out Wings / Spring / DT / Awakening procs as the fight allows.

    Hey quick question; do you ever use Light of Dawn or is Eternal flame just better? Everytime I used LoD it just feels like a wet noodle..

      Never worth using LoD in m+

      In 99% of situations, Eternal Flame is better. I've found myself using an occasional Light of Dawn on some m+ boss fights, but that's normally when 1) *We're all stacked so I can guarantee hitting 5 people* 2) EF would overheal too much. First boss Stonevault or Second boss Dawnbreaker come to mind. If you can hit 5, it's high hps... but it is rarely "effective" hps. That is, casting a LoD probably doesn't prevent someone from dying, whereas an EF would.

    Don't play hpal, mw monk main, that third boss is killing every group I run with. Is it just a matter of dps being proactive keeping only one add out. Every group I've had just tunnel visions the boss after pulling it down and then we get overwhelmed with rot damage cause there are two adds out.

      Yeah, that boss is a menace for sure... Even though it got nerfed, it still feels so overtuned, and I'm really not the kind of person who complains about dungeon tuning.
      Correct though, you should pretty much never have 2 adds out at the same time. In addition to the damage, the hook from 1 abom can troll you by interrupting the cast of another. 2 aboms can be alive for a couple of seconds when you're pulling him down the second time, but any longer and its def a dps target issue.

    I feel like your group in a +10 takes way less damage than any pug I run in a +6. Is that just gear or is it bad play / cc / defensives ect?

      Its pretty much a combination of every factor you listed. I look at the guys timing 12s right now in the exact same way. As players get into higher keys, they take less avoidable damage (because at a certain point its all 1 shotting you), but its balanced out by unavoidable damage hitting harder, which means defensive usage is more important (and thus will be used at better times). Everyone's damage is higher and they all know the dungeons, so the most threatening targets will be killed/cc'd first.
      Healing a "lower" key can be hard because the damage is seemingly random. Whereas healing a higher key is hard because holy shit why is stitchflesh pulsing 25% of my group's hp every 2 seconds / did I plan my cds well enough to deal with this?

    How do you put your team mates def cooldowns next to the frame plate

    • @Jickolas
      @Jickolas  2 місяці тому

      Hey. On the left (and top group CDs, and bottom for kicks, and under my abilities for CC) it is OmniCD. On the right, that's part of Cell's Indicators, called "Defensive Cooldowns" in the Indicator menu tab of Cell.
