Nkegete bridge

One team, one goal! 🤝🌍
A team of ten volunteers, formed through our long-standing partnership with Balfour Beatty plc, built our fifth bridge for Bridges to Prosperity this summer.
The 77m Nkegete trailbridge spans the Gasayo River in Rwanda and will provide the 1,400 people of the Ngoma Cell community safe access to schools, health centres and employment throughout the year.
As well as giving our volunteers a life changing opportunity to experience our commitment to delivering social outcomes in everything we do, on average Bridges to Prosperity projects achieve
🔹 a 12% increase in children enrolled in school
🔹 a 24% rise in healthcare treatment
🔹 a 15% boost to local business
🔹 an 18% increase in women's employment opportunities
