1:27 this rc definitely has some negatives along with positives I will say mjx for me as well has been very responsive for parts replacement if when needed. There definitely are stupid things that they do as you pointed out using an entire bottle of super glue on the chassis center brace screws. Without continuing watching this, hopefully you had a better second shot with this RC as I have totally annihilated mine and have had excellent experiences so far given what this thing is CHINA JUNKS
They are very easy to deal with I told them what happened they are sending new parts and they passed along the loctite info to the team so it sounds like they want to make the improvement. After watching what you and otherd did to this I had to give it a second chance while it was in one piece and its good its fast and fun just the loctite really hurts trying to tell people to buy it so hopefully that will get fixed it is a good rc
I just got a used Rlaarlo Omni Terminator Carbon edition off of Facebook Marketplace for $90. It came with the box and everything that came with it originally. There are no scuffs or damage anywhere. It barely has dirt on it. I stole it for $90. The only problem these trucks have is the out drive cups. I have to replace or repair all of mine on the used Terminator. I'm trying to replace the gouged out spots with JB Weld.
@NayburhoodSnipa so far I haven't had that problem you never know how people used them before but its a good rc my only problem was breaking the screw for the upper shock mount and bending the screw in the wheelie bar
@L2theWcarscoffeelife I already tore the truck completely apart. The only issue was the output cups. I know the suspension is tall and tuned for jumping. I believe the steep angle of the dog bone is making the cups work extra hard to transfer energy. I appreciate you sharing your experiences and perspective of the rc hobby through video and text. About that center brace: if MJX is doing what they did with the H14BM and the 14301 (i have owned both in the past) then the brace is, in my opinion, fastened with not glue, but what appears to me to be epoxy. I use 2 part epoxy all the time in my other hobby, and my center brace looked like they filled the head of the screw with epoxy. I'm not saying I'm 100% correct, but that's what it looked like to me, on the older vehicles. My problem with MJX (the 14BM) was customer service and quality control. My truck had 2 screws shed on the maiden run, one being the bellcrank and the other the steering linkage. They use odd hex self tappers, so i messaged them to get replacements sent out. They said "sure" even asked me the part number, and 4 months later, no hex screw replacements in the mail. Also, that damn throttle delay built into the ESC, and the a-arm rear hingepins are press-fit not captured. For the price of $185 (apparently) this truck seems much better made, but MJX are a pain to wrench on, and i don't know if I'd get real warranty service from them. Horizon Hobby has immediately helped me with Felony and Granite parts. They put the parts in a box, send it 2-day express, and I'm back on the road. That's a big deal for me. This 10th scale seems like it has the same issue as the 14th scale: not wide enough to be stable at speeds.
Where I snapped the screw you can see blue so that looks like loctite of some sort. I agree there is a white film running down the shock tower that looks like super glue. After breaking the bolt you see how flimsy the car is the brace must be there I guess that is why the made it to not come out. I gave them my input and they did send new parts it took forever!! Like you said Arrma its taken care of parts are coming most of the time lol They are bad about backorders but I never had an issue with any warranty stuff, These companies are asking a premium for these now its not the 120 dollar rc I am expecting better and I am not impressed with it at this price the little Rlaarlo I just reviewed will walk all over this and at a 100 dollars or more cheaper

I use the dumbo as well as a dx5c and of course traxxas for those guys but something else with model memory would be cool.. I think there's a 10 channel dumbo that might have model memory but what do you use?.. once again great video
@basherz_den Thank you very much glad you enjoy the video. I have the Dumbo ddf 350 its in the Amazon store if you ever wonder what stuff I use. The only bad part is a 10 model memory its great you can set your trim or exponential and servo reverse if need be and its all stored like the dx5 so every time you use it just change the model no need to have to set a trim each time
Ya i think ill wait on this one and ya i think to high of price especially if its only 50 less then redcat valkyrie no way its even close to compare to that truck they need to drop this like 150 and make the parts cheap to get then maby it be a good buy....the only thing good about the mjx is there is alot of parts for them on amazon compared to the other cheap brands on amazon....canada amzon ive noticed anyhow.....
@justinfolster2278 Rlaarlo has a good selection of parts for a lot of thier stuff now and at the same price or usually a little bit cheaper the carbon Omni Terminator is a better rc as far as I am concerned I agree for 50 more the Valkyrie is a way better deal I do enjoy it more than the smaller scale stuff.
Just say it. It's a piece of junk and not ready for prime time. And everyone was right. I know you don't want parts to rattle loose, but that is ridiculous. It's advertised for 4s and it's can't even take 3s. And yes, that remote is total garbage. I bought a couple of cars for the kids and it's a good thing they're kids. I couldn't use the remote either, and they were Hosim branded. But the car was even called a Hyper Go and Hosim didn't try to hide it. But the cars are very good. Maybe one of the beat out there in 1/16th scale. And only two batteries really does make you wonder about signal strength. I put 15 dollar gyros on all my high speed cars and don't have any handling issues no matter the terrain, on any of them. The gyro really shines on pavement.

I agree 100% about MJX getting into the higher price ranges… and the Omni-Terminator is a wayyy better vehicle… for the $250 range
and thats the carbon version you can still get the regular one cheaper although I wouldn't recommend it but you can
The cf Omni is $212 atm on Amazon . It drops to $213 for a few days every couple weeks

Are you running an EC5 to XT90 adapter? I had to do that with my corrally Asuga cause all my batteries are EC5
