  • BOND STREET is the most famous street in WESTMINSTER of LONDON!
The BOND STREET was first laid out in the mid 1680 by a group of PROPERTY DEVELOPERS and GOLDSMITHS, including Sir THOMAS BOND.
Then, Bond Street was named after Sir Thomas Bond, 1st Baronet (1620 to 1685) was an ENGLISH LANDOWNER and financial Comptroller of the household of QUEEN HENRIETTA MARIA.
Bond Street is the home to some of the world’s most prestigious retailers, including: ASPREY, BULGARI, BURBERRY, CHANEL, CARTIER, DOLCE GABBANA, HERMÈS, JIMMY CHOO, LOUIS VUITTON, MULBERRY, RALPH LAUREN AND TIFFANY CO.
For centuries, Bond Street was a trendy residential address, past residents include: Lady EMMA HAMILTON, ADMIRAL HORATIO NELSON, LAURENCE STERNE, JAMES BOSWELL, HENRY FIELDING, Sir JOSHUA REYNOLDS, Sir THOMAS LAWRENCE and Sir WALTER SCOTT.
The home of luxury shopping in London, Bond Street is revered throughout the world for its wealth of elegant stores, exclusive brands, boutiques and designer fashion.
The architecture is from the late GEORGIAN phase of BRITISH ARCHITECTURE, known as REGENCY.
The BAROQUE STYLE BUILDINGS, are grand and opulent, with ornate details and dramatic features.
Bond Street offers an unrivalled mix of history, traditional and elegance with modern luxury.
Bond Street is a place that should be placed on “must see” list by anyone who comes to LONDON.
Bond Street is a marvellous part of CENTRAL LONDON, that must be visited by those who enjoy fine dining and upmarket shopping.
I wish you a pleasant viewing.
