    • @Sn0wZer0
      @Sn0wZer0 4 роки тому +1

      Indeed. The exposed OSB on the bottom makes me worry they won't show it, but hopefully they've got a plan.

    • @lignumchannel

      The trusses and bottom 2cm of battens will be visible. Osb is there just to hold the insulation and other layers of the roof, bottom of it will be covered up..

    Is a gluelam wooden structural member better in performance against flexure or bending than the parent wood of same cross sectional dimension?

  • @hazembata
    @hazembata 4 роки тому

    This is very complicated work. You make it look so easy.
    I apologize if this is inappropriate, but can you tell us how much a project like this costs? An approximation is enough. A breakdown of cost for design, assembly and materials would be nice. I am curious. Thanks.

    • @tcrenovations1970
      @tcrenovations1970 4 роки тому

      Yes, could not agree more - I guess I am assuming this this beautiful framing will be exposed. Chipboard/OSB ages poorly. Hopefully there’s not a million gun nails shot through it.

    • @lignumchannel
      @lignumchannel  4 роки тому

      Oh the OSB will not be visible, its there to hold the insulation and other layers of the roof. Additional decorative panels come underneath so only trusses and bottom 2 cm of roof battens will be visible.
