Hello- I’m looking to do a pair myself of the same cleats and I’ve never tried it. Couple questions: 1. Do you use sand paper to scuff the entire shoe surface before paint? 2. What kind of tape are you using to tape off the midsole and sock liner? 3. Did you have to mix the paint with the 2-soft or 2-thin? Any pointers would be extremely appreciated. Thank you in advance
1. Yes I do the whole shoe, but not any of the laces or mesh 2. I honestly can't remember the name to save my life, but usually regular painters tape works fine. To be honest if you have an arts and crafts store by you, I would guy there and ask for their stickies stuff to tape the mesh of the sock liner. Midsole you can use any painters tape. 3. No I mixed with 2-hard as its a plastic-like surface. Also sprayed adhesion promoter on first as well Good luck on your custom!

Yea of course. If it's fabric, probably use a little bit of two soft

What kind of finish did you use?
A clear matte finisher. You can either brush it on or spray it
