    Another stunner!
    🥰
    Tip for the bottom...
    Liquid latex works wonders! Slap it on, and peel it off.
    Or painters tape, electrical tape works as well.
    Saves you from having to sand.

    I never thought to add mica to alcohol for spritzing. You come up with the most beautiful ideas.

      Thank you! I’ve seen the micas added to alcohol for countertops, it gives more dimension and a slight shimmer to it! Thank you for watching! ❤️❤️❤️

    After watching a number of marble effect resin videos I decided to try yours as not only did you get a great effect but you explained it well too. I’ve never done it before so I wonder if I make or break my latest project? Thanks for sharing…. New sub…….. Know Expert

    About how much of white colorant did you use? I did this and the white was a bit transparent, can see the wood base. Thanks!

      I know it’s recommended to use 2 oz of pigment paste in 1 gallon of epoxy, so I’m not sure the exact measurement for smaller amounts. I usually mix in some, then lift the stir stick up and if I can see the stick through it I add more. You could also paint your surface white first so it for sure wouldn’t show through! And the one you poured already you could do a second layer and it should be thick enough to not show through. Thank you for watching! ☺️❤️

    I thought about doing this to my lazy Susan table that's in my craft room. Its so hard to get clean. but I had know idea how to go about doing it. Can you tell me about how much resin you used in each step? how much to cover with the white mica, then how much of each of the clear at the end? Is there anyway to use maybe tape or something around the bottom? Thank you for your videos, I love the quick no non-sense get the info out there videos. Thanks again.
    Oh abd the mica to the alcohol, how much mica for a spray bottle that size? genius!!!

      Thank you!!! So you can check out epoxycalculator.com to help you with how much epoxy to use, I’m not sure how much I did, I need to start writing it down and leaving it in the description box for you guys! Yes you can do tape on the bottom, you just want to peel it off before the epoxy is really hard. Thank you for watching! 🥰❤️

    Your work is gorgeous and flawless. ♥️ How do you figure out how much epoxy to start with? Assuming this project has a 12” diameter- how much did you start with?

    • @GlazedEpoxy
      @GlazedEpoxy  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you so much! I am not good at knowing how much to use, but you can go to epoxycalculator.com and type in your measurements and it will tell you how much to use! Thank you for watching! 😄💕

    • @GlazedEpoxy

      I did 8 ounces for the color layer, and 4 for the clear layer 😄
