It may be worth it to go take Genoa before getting the protectorate thing with sardinia so that you can trade with tuscany and the small italian countries. I don't think you can trade with them if you don't have a direct border and the protectorate would make it so that you can't take that city in the future
Oh I didn't realize that was the case. Thank you! I'll check it out and if I can't trade through the territory of a protectorate then I'll go take that city first
a tip dont shoot at artillery with ur infantry cuz the artillery can easily just switch to canister and blow u to bits u need to charge em cuz they have more hit points
23:58 Those types of dragoons can only fire dismounted haven't watched the whole episode yet so sorry if you figured that out later. Skirmish mode only works for melee attacks which the AI rarely does unless they are right next to you or its cav.
Thank you so much! I had no idea Thought for sure the skirmish mode would have the skirmisher unit retreat while reloading and then fire again from superior range. Almost lost the whole unit cuz of that lol
