My wife just authoritatively took over the computer after listening to this lyric video and ordered the deluxe edition for me! I had no say! I love my wife!
You need keep that wife in check. The Bible says that wife is to be submissive to her husband. Even though heat she did was amazing and she did you tremendous service by ordering you the album of this song, she did so without your permission and must be punished.
These guys planted a seed in me years ago when I was not religious, when I was a sinner and I didn't even know. I went to an in flames show and these guys opened up for them and I liked them. Then years later I had a son, then a daughter, I became spiritual and eventually came back to Christianity. I was looking for hard rock (metal) with Christian inspired lyrics and these guys popped up, really gave me comfort knowing that I had already been introduced to this band and gave me a new outlook on how God uses music to reach his children.
Awesome as always.I love Demon Hunter. They're the best metal band by far in my opinion. Ryan's an awesome screamer and singer. And the melodic soft chorus's they do are so much better than most "metal" bands straight repetitive screaming and boring guitar lines.
I agree wholeheartedly...they effectively capture everything that is metal. Ryan has a great singing voice and brutal throaty scream then as far as music they have varying tempos, a range of dynamics, slews of riffs, and innovative thought provoking lyrics. Cream of the crop!
I've been a hunter ever since I heard their music at the age of 13. I'm now 23 and they have never failed to produce only the best quality of metal. Keep it up Ryan Clark and co.!
XxMetalMartyrxX777 - yes indeed!!!! great song but that riff is my absolute favorite part hands down...so brutal!!! Then the soloing in the middle...my goodness!!!
This song is so strong lyrically. Hard-hitting stuff that is very relevant to all of us in the body of Christ. Thank you for continuing to challenge us to be more than we are for our beloved Savior. Incredible work, brothers.
I really dig the message of the song. I feel it this way: the world around us is the artificial light. We weren't suppose to live disconnected from God; that wasn't His intention. The world has slandered the real truth of who is Creator and such. The world is noisy, and behind it all, as we seek we hear the voice of change. We want the real cure: the Real Light, not lousy fake light.
The song is about songs like, for example, Fade to Black by Metallica (these songs deal with depression, suicide, etc.); somehow, in these songs, people find reassurance for their own suffering. Ryan Clark is saying that he believes those songs are "artificial light" and "it's just to keep you from failing alone" because they provide no solutions to the problems they bring up. Ryan wants "a real cure, not idle sympathy."
I think this song even relates to beliefs/religion and all the denominations of western and eastern theology of what it truly means to be a believer and follower of Jesus Christ.
THAT WAS AWESOME!!!! Has a REAL 'in-your-face'-kinda vibe. If you'd ask me...I'd say this was a MAJOR step forward for Demon Hunter. Don't get me wrong folks...I LOVE Demon Hunter. They're a REAL inspiration to me. I love their music. It has ALWAYS spoken to me in ways other music just can't. But...As I look at their evolution as a band...there's always seemed to be something lacking with them. Like...I'm not sure how to put it. Like they were all about making it loud & clear about how the felt "True Defiance" was their most aggressive record. But see...compared to their self-titled record, "True Defiance", as great of a record that it is, just doesn't even come close. That debut record was SO heavy. SO aggressive. SO dark. SO tone-setting. It really set the bar with what this band is about. It's honestly one of my favorite records ever. Then you look at all their records that came after it...& I think one of the biggest factors was RYAN CHANGING HIS SCREAM!!!! Are his screams bad now? no. They're still fairly ferocious. I just wish he would've kept the same screaming style that he had on the first record. That always felt the most real & honest to me. Like...it wasn't about a music-industry-friendly scream or the scream easy enough to maintain his singing voice. It was just a raw form of emotion put into brutal metal music. It was REALLY giving EVERYTHING he had. That's why songs like "Infected" & "A Broken Upper Hand" & "As We Wept" & "I Have Seen Where It Grows" just stick out to me SO much more than anything they've ever released. But...that's not to say that anything off of the other records doesn't do it for me. Cuz...ANYTIME Demon Hunter comes around with new material, like this song, I'm ALWAYS SUPER ECSTATIC ABOUT HEARING IT!!! "Artificial Light" may have a very similar vibe to "My Destiny". But.........I can honestly say that just hearing this song alone is enough to give off a sense of promise that "Extremist" is going to be a VERY AMAZING record :) #demonhunter
Overall, I enjoyed the first listen of this song. The intro was definitely the best part of the song--very layered, well composed, and the riff changes three times before Ryan starts singing. That is all from the hand of Patrick Judge. His songwriting is so prevalent ever since he joined the band. He's incredible. I was definitely expecting a more "explosive" bridge and breakdown. The quiet part was definitely out of place in the first listen (it will probably grow on me). I couldn't agree more about the "predictability" of DH's newer stuff. "The World Is A Thorn" definitely threw everyone a curve ball and I think is their best album to date. With this being said, I CANNOT WAIT for this album. There are for sure going to be some KILLER songs. Demon Hunter always delivers.
I feel that. The intro reminded me of "Descending Upon Us," but listening to this song brings back that feeling of the first time I listened to Summer of Darkness, which was my first album.
I wasn't totally on board with this tune at first but the more i listen to it the more it grows on me. I've listened to it about a hundred times already so you can imagine how much I really like this song!
Go! Tell me your misery Give us the antidote I heard the voice of change Behind a vacant note All this tearing apart Without a reform Call it what you will I'm not afraid to say I've heard it all, connection lost We're standing by, artificial light You sell a fix for our defect And all we find, artificial light Doesn't break the model I can't feel it in my bones Nothing shattering my world (No!) man, you have no clue what you're getting yourself into!!! this band is awesome!! Summer of Darkness... you have to hear that album... (they are really good)
Ever since Patrick starting doing guitars, DH has been AMAZING!!! I've always been a fan, but these last few albums have knocked it out of the park!! I love this!
This is one of the most perfect songs I have ever heard. Has everything I love all in one song! Breakdown, guitar solo, clean vocals, aggressive vocals, amazing drumming, quality guitar work, lyrics, bass, slow and fast pace. Consider me very impressed!!
Great, as always from Demon Hunter. Reminds of me of how many churches are. Dead. Nothing life changing, or, shattering our world as the song states. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying all churches are bad. But when it's the same thing over and over again, and all you have is people sitting there, then rushing out the doors - unchanged, it truly is artificial. Looking forward to hearing more!
How does this not have more views?! Everyone should know this by now. I love the album! It's catchy, amazing riffs, its has heavier/softer elements to it and solos scattered throughout. Not only base your opinions on the sounds but also the lyrics are simple but deep, understand what they are trying to say. Nothing but a positive message to fans but a milestone for them. If you haven't already, pick up the album, you won't regret it. Demon Hunter is at the top of their game and in my opinion, they're winning. Keep rocking fans! & Don't forget about the real music! \m/
2:03 gets me so freakin pumped man I love the lyrics, "your remedy is not a weapon to slaughter the sorrow it's just to keep you from feeling alone" that is perfect. I think it talks about how religion people offer is empty and that they need something more than empty promises
This song has a double meaning for me. Sometimes I read the song as the artificial light as the solutions the world gives us, leaving us without a real cure, and not "breaking the model" and dont make us change, and the other meaning being the songs that just reassure people in their suffering and not sparking a real change.
For everyone debating on whether the lyrics are religious or not, or that the lyrics have several different meanings (some religious, some not religious) you all need to understand one thing: Demon Hunter is a Christian band. They write Christian lyrics, with religious and Christian meanings behind each and every song. That's what they do, they always have done that. Whether you want to find something in their songs that isn't religious or not, it is just you twisting what they're saying to better suit your life. If you can't listen to a song that is written with Christian meanings, without trying to find something that isn't there, then you're listening to the wrong music, for the wrong reason. Something brought you to their music. If you deny God and everything Demon Hunter stands for that's fine. But, don't say "I don't want to hear about the Christian meaning" and then ask for the meaning to the song. You won't get anywhere.
I take the lyrics are about fake Christians who live in a world of fake Christianity (fake Christianity being the artificial light). Makes me think of so many churches who claim to follow Christ but they don't obey his commandments.
The song is called artificial light for a reason its talking about how imperfect people feel about themselves so they try to find something that makes them feel better
I can't believe the negative comments about storm the gates of hell, world is a thorn , and true defiance... Wow. I've loved every album they put out. I think they have gotten better and more creative with each one.
I watched a video of Ryan talking about the meaning. It's about how he's so tired of metal bands providing a dead end hope by telling people they know their struggles. They never offer any real solution, it's just "I hurt too".
It is interesting that the Bible records several instances of the LORD G-D cloaking Himself in darkness when roaming the earth. It was recorded once in Chronicles after King Solomon dedicated the Temple. (The glory of the LORD descended in a dark cloud.) I think the second instance is in the Psalms,
Yeeeeeeeaaaaah..... No. This is far from their heaviest. I can give you a list of songs that are heavier than this. 1.Storm the gates of hell 2.Beheaded 3.Crucifix 4.The world is a thorn 5.Tie this around your neck ....And much much more!
Chris Matt Crucifix and God Forsaken are their best songs, imo. This song is iight, but it's nothing like.. "Wow, that's amazing. Replay for sure." It's good, but not amazing. Just my opinion.
Pretty bold song. I see a lot of comments thinking this is only directed at secular media or bands, but I think it is more towards"Christian" artists. I think it more directed towards a lot of bands who just constantly write about how broken the system is, or how corrupt the Church is, and how we are going to rise up and set things right. I have always found that notion funny, when we are the problem. If you find something wrong with the Church then take a good look in the mirror. We are the body of Christ and if something is wrong then we have had a hand in it. I see artists acting like they have found the fix, but as the song states all I see is artificial light. I see people shifting blame, appeasing and obvious exploitation of real hurts caused by parts of the Church, and rally cries behind empty claims to fix social injustices. You CANNOT fix the state of the world with shallow rally cries and misrepresentation of scripture. Pointing out the obvious flaws of today's society does NO good. Simply sympathizing with those who have been hurt will do no good either. It will take individuals lead by the Holy Spirit being true examples of being Christ like to correct our path as the Church. If WE were able to truly to change things for the better you would think the Church would be more effective at healing a broken world.Instead WE have become part of the problem, either by indifference, or by our insecurities and started casting stones at anyone who doesn't add up to our standards, while we hardly add up to them ourselves. If we truly want a revolution then it starts with one. We must grow as individuals, being confident in who we are in Christ, with His Word being our firm foundation to the point of even if you were the last believer on earth you would stand. If the Body is weak it's because the individuals it is comprised of is weak.God is still in control even when we falter, He will never force His will upon us, but His plan will not slow or stop for us. He has already given us all we need to overcome the struggles of life, and it is His will for us to be a part of His Kingdom. But it is not about us as a group changing anything, instead it should be us growing as individuals, striving to be in His perfect will. Then I believe true change can happen.I am weary of these artists who think we can change anything when it should always have been God help me grow and mature into the man or woman you want me to be. The world has been force fed Artificial Light for to long and it shows.
Bowties R Cool Both Ryan and Don Clark have been a part of the Christian music scene for a very long time. Though Don is no longer on the active roster, both he and Ryan were part of an earlier band called Training For Utopia over 10 years ago and while I don't think they have ever liked the term "Christian Band" their belief in Christ has always been reflected in their art. Ryan's lyric writing has for the most part mainly focused on the shortcomings and fallacies of man from a Biblical perspective. During his tenure with Training For Utopia Ryan's lyrical style was written from a stance of anger and had a outward look to it,in my opinion. When they formed Demon Hunter there was significant change in style with Ryan's lyrics. They are still largely focused on the shortcomings of man but it is from a more personal and inward look. He became more reflective with his writing by sharing his own struggles and shortcomings. I feel Ryan has a good understanding that in order for us to truly begin to grasp God's love and grace we must first realize our own limitations and shortcomings to realize how much we need God. I would also imagine that he hopes by sharing his struggles that it would in turn might help someone struggling with a similar situation. Writing with this perspective makes it easy for people to relate to them and is part of the reason there are fans who believe in God and those who don't. So as others before me stated yes they are Christian artists. Hopefully I helped out with the why they are Christians.
ShyGuy 711 i hope you know they came out and said they are in a video. and they even said they get a lot of respect from the secular bands for it. but yes you are right this is actually towards the church because it even says "you sell a fix, for our defects and all we find artificial light, doesnt break the model, i cant feel it in my bones, nothings shattering my world" meaning you sell other things to distract us from truth of the true gospel.
You guys keep inspiring me with the amazing music and the intensity of the lyrics: The fake that the world offers can't compare to the authentic Reality. This album is going to be awesome, I believe it!
I cannot wait for this album to drop! simply amazing, if the rest of the album is like this, man it will be amazing! demon has yet to disapoint, i have liked every single album they put out, and i have liked most to all songs on every album, not many bands, singers i can say that about
yea true man....i think true defiance was their worst album and it wasnt even remotely bad so thats saying something(JS it wasnt up 2 par with their albums)
Jake Seager I beg to differ. IMO, Storm and True Defiance are their 2 best. I still listen to True Defiance on a weekly basis and may have to crank it here again!
yeah, my least favorite album is probably summer of darkness, but I still like the album. i thought true defiance was awesome. but it is a matter of opinion thats for sure
AHHHHH!! this is freaking great love it, man they just keep getting better and better wow hahaha so totally going to get my pre-order in as soon as I get the chance, lol Great job Demon Hunter you guys rule.
I love how the subtly reference lines of previous songs. "I can't feel it in my bones." It parallels another song that says the opposite. They did something similar from The World Is A Thorn to True Defiance. I can't wait for the album!
I totally agree with you, it's real sad that greatness like this is over shadowed by the terrible music in our society today like Bieber. These guys and many others deserve more credit and love. I wish I found this band sooner I love them.
Drake Darkstar hahahaha i found demon hunter from Zynthetic lllllloooooollllll from soundcloud even before KF2 , and was boomed when saw KF2 having demon hunter
I also like the ballad or 2 they always do though, but yeah I'm hoping the album in general is heavier than the last, this song is fucking awesome, more like it and some heavier will be fuckin great, I can't wait for the album.
Yes! This is the Demon Hunter I've come to know and love with their extreme music of passion and deep morals! I've been waiting for these guys to bring out their next album! It can't come out soon enough!!!!!
I'm tired every metal band having clean vocals.i get it ,you wanna be on the radio or your record label is asking you to do it,but man every new band is doing it. Having said that this band is really talented and I give them their due.
Garrett, this has always been Demon Hunters formula, scream the verse, sing the chorus. They've differed on a few songs but for the most part its always the same. Whats good about it is that within that formula they've been able to steady put out decent to great song writing. Nothing too innovative, but always at least good. I can agree with you though that a lot of bands start putting cleans in their music to appeal to a wider audience, however some bands don't do it for audience but for the natural feel. For instance, Between the Buried and Me, who I just saw sunday night, has incorporated some AMAZING sung vocals in their music while still staying super heavy and super progressive and retaining some awesome growls and screams. I couldn't see them having no clean vocals.
Chris thomas eikrem very true at least DH does it well. Elliot McConnell true. I remember demon hunter from when training for utopia broke up in the early 2000s i was super excited to hear what they were gonna put together and I was underwhelmed when I heard the unmastered s/t. Like I said earlier demon hunter does what they do well.
Demon Hunter are so FREAKING awesome! Literally every album they make is amazing. I feel sorry for people who don't appreciate or at least respects this kind of music. Demon Hunter forever!💯👍✌️🤟
Geoffrey de Brouwer TYFLOL Just remember this is youtube. haha I've never heard a song on UA-cam that I liked until I heard the real track. If that makes sense
Chris Matt Kind of, but UA-cam still has studio quality music, if your computer can run it. What you hear on youtube is almost as good as it gets. Having the CD will always be best, though. It doesn't make a huge difference. This song is okay, but not amazing, like some of their old ones. I still listen to Follow The Wolves.
What are you listening to this through? Laptop speakers, even high quality ones seem to produce more "hallow" sounds than pc speakers. But the last couple DH albums have had some up and down mixing.
the mix is good, its just different from what you are used to probably. the mix can give everything a different sound, and this is probably what they wanted.
this is such an accurate description for the Catholic Church. and by that i mean the system and higher ups of it, not the common people. they're no real Church, they're just saying Bibical things to get power. they don't honor Jesus in any way. they're basically the Harlot riding the Beast that was spoken of in Revelation.
bro, its not all about just that problem with the catholic church.....they pray to freakin mary! it talks about how to pray directly in the bible! matthews...remember!? when christ was born, lived, died and ascended from the earth it was soon after said that the only way to reach god was through christ.....well how are we doing that if we pray to his mother???? wrong person guys!
+SparksFly2323 i see and understand the logic, and yes it makes perfect sense.....totally get that...but christ is the only true gateway to god.....father, son and holy spirit god being the head, son the gateway between him and us, and the holy spirit of them both that flows within us.....though mary created him, she prays to him just like we do and shes on an equal level with us....though what she did is amazing and trully deserves an amazing amount of respect and honor....she is no more than any of us.....but like i said, i see you guys logic in it, but fail to grasp the full meaning of the concept
William Reinboldt um, that was sarcasm when i wrote that. i agree with all you've said. Jesus is the only way to heaven. and the Holy Spirit is His power in us. and our connection to Him, and our guide in life.
@@commandershepherd8987 nah bro
What model is she? Do they still make them? And how much did she cost?
@Nocturnal Dread he for 100% sure doing that comment to drive people against the religion. He is damn sure not a religious person but anti-religious.
@@commandershepherd8987 if he minded he would've stopped her 8n the moment and I think she knows that, you're taking this too seriously
These guys planted a seed in me years ago when I was not religious, when I was a sinner and I didn't even know. I went to an in flames show and these guys opened up for them and I liked them. In a world full of crappy screamo bands, Demon Hunter have kept the metal flowing. It's a good thing.
Impending Doom and Living Sacrifice say otherwise.
I recently discovered Oh, Sleeper and Fit For A King, I wish I discovered them sooner.
Awesome as always.I love Demon Hunter. They're the best metal band by far in my opinion. Ryan's an awesome screamer and singer. And the melodic soft chorus's they do are so much better than most "metal" bands straight repetitive screaming and boring guitar lines.

Neil Bennett For sure!
I've been a hunter ever since I heard their music at the age of 13. I'm now 23 and they have never failed to produce only the best quality of metal. Keep it up Ryan Clark and co.!
this song actual is not about religous beliefs in ryan's interview he says that its about how most bands have hollow meanings in there lyrics.
doesn't singing about other's hollow meanings make this song hollow'er....
Steve Elie
Not really, as it kind of makes it have a meaning, that meaning being others lack it, if you get what I'm saying.
Artificial light....
Awesome!!!!!!! Can't wait for the new album!
these guys aren't Christian Metal, They're Musical Crusaders
Jacob McComas they are christian, and their music is also christian,
sh9683 I don't think you understood his comment...
Jacob McComas Deus Vult!
+chaosincarna You mean the Doom WAD right?
DEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS VOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLT

yes, they have yet not to deliver!
you just made the song boring dude👎
This sounds absolutely amazing and it actually reminds me of their Summer Of Darkness album. Can't wait to hear more!
I feel that. The intro reminded me of "Descending Upon Us," but listening to this song brings back that feeling of the first time I listened to Summer of Darkness, which was my first album.
This is what I call the perfect Valentine's Day gift from my favorite band!

Go!
Tell me your misery
Give us the antidote
I heard the voice of change
Behind a vacant note
All this tearing apart
Without a reform
Call it what you will
I'm not afraid to say
I've heard it all, connection lost
We're standing by, artificial light
You sell a fix for our defect
And all we find, artificial light
Doesn't break the model
I can't feel it in my bones
Nothing shattering my world (No!)
We want a real cure
Not idle sympathy
The dark consuming light
That you have failed to be
No, it's not enough
I resent this deprivation
Your remedy is not a weapon
To slaughter the sorrow
It's just to keep you from feeling alone
I've heard it all, connection lost
We're standing by, artificial light
You sell a fix for our defect
And all we find, artificial light
Doesn't break…
wow amazing stuff......looking foward to the new album
These guys never disappoint Ryan Clark's vocals send shivers down my spine.

I love the way Ryan hits the chorus.
Sick album cover as always. I liked this, hope to hear some screaming in a few other songs off the album
Same here, I am very excited for the album release.
you will trust me probably death and gasoline as well as waste me
Joel Stands Yeah no doubt
This is one of the most perfect songs I have ever heard. Has everything I love all in one song! Breakdown, guitar solo, clean vocals, aggressive vocals, amazing drumming, quality guitar work, lyrics, bass, slow and fast pace. Consider me very impressed!!
I'm blown away by how they keep stepping it up. Absolutely amazing.
Wow, alot more shready! Can't wait for the album #demonhunter
If you're a Christian, or go to church, then this songs meaning should be pretty self-evident lol.
1of1000 I don't go to church and I got the meaning.
Great, as always from Demon Hunter. Reminds of me of how many churches are. Dead. Nothing life changing, or, shattering our world as the song states.
Demon Hunter is back! Sounds awesome like usual!
The song is called artificial light for a reason its talking about how imperfect people feel about themselves so they try to find something that makes them feel better
ARGH! omg this is AWESOME! Sorry, my brain just exploded
The voice level he sings in the Chorus is some of his best work, hand's down.
All yall need to go listen to PHINEAS they are the next best metalcore band!!!!!!!
Glad to see Demon Hunter back cause I haven't listened to them in a long time and I am excited for their new album to come out next month:)
love this band, did a few tutorials of there songs
Idgaf fuck you
Are you having a bad day
what is crazy is that each of their albums get better and better when you don't think it's possible!
amazing
So amazing!!! Cannot wait for the rest of the epic beardness!
I can't believe the negative comments about storm the gates of hell, world is a thorn , and true defiance... Wow. I've loved every album they put out. I think they have gotten better and more creative with each one.
I know right? It's ridiculous. All their albums are amazing in their own way. Why does everybody seem to hate their earlier works?
@@GeertPrins if anything the new albums got me into the old works
I love this song, I'm already completely excited for your guys' new album \m/
Best song on the album
Don't really understand this song except that he has stumbled upon something extraordinary.
(The glory of the LORD descended in a dark cloud.) I think the second instance is in the Psalms,
Christopher Gruhn Why do people keep saying "G-D" on here? Just say God. He's not Voldemort.
It's a respect thing.
been about 10 years since I heard about these guys. I am glad to hear that they are staying true to their roots and still producing great music.
new Demon Hunter means happiness for me :D
im in love this will be a song im going to cover ! i have been planing to do a cover of one of the new songs and this just won
I love Jesus Metal!!!!!!
I really love the choruses... I can't wait to pick this up. :D
amo essa banda
I follow the band from 2002. Is notorious the evolution of the band, amazing!
God bless you DM.
This is probably DH's most heavy song, besides Someone To Hate. ITS SO FUCKING GOOD
Just Breathe is pretty heavy too
WHAT!? I'm guessing you haven't heard anything from their first album, Triptych, Summer of Darkness, or Storm The Gates Of Hell.
Sweedify not to forget The world is a Thorn
Yeeeeeeeaaaaah..... No. This is far from their heaviest. I can give you a list of songs that are heavier than this.
1.Storm the gates of hell
2.Beheaded
3.Crucifix
4.The world is a thorn
5.Tie this around your neck
....And much much more!
Chris Matt Crucifix and God Forsaken are their best songs, imo. This song is iight, but it's nothing like.. "Wow, that's amazing. Replay for sure." It's good, but not amazing. Just my opinion.
Third song I've heard from demon hunters.... I'm loving it so far
We are living in a world of Artificial light during this Covid-19 "pandemic."
This is quite different from their other music. It's polyrhythmic/syncopation.. i can dig it
Pretty bold song.
Wait is Demon Hunter a Christian band??
Bowties R Cool Aren`t them?
Bowties R Cool yes they are.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. ~Martin Luther King, Jr.
~shalom :)
Jake Seager other
Jake Seager I beg to differ.
This is such a great song. I'm surprised it hasn't even reached a million views. :/
So many good things are coming out of my speakers right now. WOW.
YEESS YEESSS YYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS
thefight4god Shalom!
AHHHHH!! this is freaking great love it, man they just keep getting better and better wow hahaha so totally going to get my pre-order in as soon as I get the chance, lol Great job Demon Hunter you guys rule.
Woowww great song. From Turkey
EREN Shinoda selam bro fueihcei
sanada selam ;)
I love how the subtly reference lines of previous songs. "I can't feel it in my bones." It parallels another song that says the opposite. They did something similar from The World Is A Thorn to True Defiance. I can't wait for the album!
its sad that awesome songs like these are not getting the attention that dumb songs like justin beiber's are getting
I totally agree with you, it's real sad that greatness like this is over shadowed by the terrible music in our society today like Bieber. These guys and many others deserve more credit and love. I wish I found this band sooner I love them.
@@jman13jb Justin Bieber? In 2019? I agree but still.
gonna be a great album!
Found demon hunter from killing floor 2s trailer
Drake Darkstar hahahaha i found demon hunter from Zynthetic lllllloooooollllll from soundcloud even before KF2 , and was boomed when saw KF2 having demon hunter
ah you mean their track "this i know"? great song that
me too. Couldnt take the I AM DEATH, DEATH I AM and just let that go
found this band a while back. cant get it out my head🙃
If this is their medium level song for the new album, then their heavy songs are gonna be REALLY HEAVY.
I also like the ballad or 2 they always do though, but yeah I'm hoping the album in general is heavier than the last, this song is fucking awesome, more like it and some heavier will be fuckin great, I can't wait for the album.
AyZeD I've always loved there ballads. Tides Began to Rise and I Am a Stone are possibly my favorites.
FailDGamers Deteriorate and Heartstrings Come Undone are awesome softer songs too.
man can't wait for the two bonus tracks waste me and helpless hope as well as the others
Joel Stands Me either. Pre-ordered the album as soon as I knew about this album!
You guys are doing it again. Every album since my brother bought me summer of darkness when I was 8.
Fantastic! I imagine when one looks in the dictionary or relevant reference book under 'metal' it says see Demon Hunter!
Yes! This is the Demon Hunter I've come to know and love with their extreme music of passion and deep morals! I've been waiting for these guys to bring out their next album! It can't come out soon enough!!!!!
Thank you for the video!!!!! GOD bless and keep you and JESUS loves you!!!!!
+Joel Hamilton God Bless you Too!!!!!
I love both the sound and meaning of this song.
this is awesome God bless you Demon Hunter for releasing the first song woohoo #doublepedalJesusMetal
can't wait for the 18th I will be running to get the deluxe edition latter that day
So much awesomeness to this song.... Can't wait for the album to arrive
I'm tired every metal band having clean vocals.i get it ,you wanna be on the radio or your record label is asking you to do it,but man every new band is doing it. Having said that this band is really talented and I give them their due.
It's all about opinions, man :) Someone likes it, someone doesn't, simple as that :)
I remember demon hunter from when training for utopia broke up in the early 2000s
i was super excited to hear what they were gonna put together and I was underwhelmed when I heard the unmastered s/t.
Like I said earlier demon hunter does what they do well.
Garrett Vincent Yeah, Demon Hunter is the only -core band I like. Usually I don't like clean vocals in metal, but DH is something different :)
they are a christian band
This song is the best! The main part of the song always is in my head! Keep the song coming!!
I'm Jewish and this song means things to me to because of the Old Testament but I don't really care about that I just like the music.⛪️🕌🕍☮
Demon Hunter are so FREAKING awesome! Literally every album they make is amazing. I feel sorry for people who don't appreciate or at least respects this kind of music. Demon Hunter forever!💯👍✌️🤟
Joel Osteen has left the chat
They have made all of their albums sound so great keep it up!!!
Jesus Christ loves you
Best song ever!!!! Demon Hunter is just getting better with every album.
I hope the quality of the official album is a bit better :/
Agree the audio track is noisy and messy
Geoffrey de Brouwer TYFLOL Just remember this is youtube. haha I've never heard a song on UA-cam that I liked until I heard the real track. If that makes sense
studio version can be heard on iTunes fyi
Chris Matt Kind of, but UA-cam still has studio quality music, if your computer can run it. What you hear on youtube is almost as good as it gets. Having the CD will always be best, though. It doesn't make a huge difference. This song is okay, but not amazing, like some of their old ones. I still listen to Follow The Wolves.
What are you listening to this through? Laptop speakers, even high quality ones seem to produce more "hallow" sounds than pc speakers. But the last couple DH albums have had some up and down mixing.
Sounds awesome! Can't wait to hear the rest of the album!
Alternative title could be "Fauxton"
Lol. Perfect.
NICE 😂
plus u gotta love ryans singing....but his screaming even more....hoping to see it in other songs
I don't remember The Overseer's video being this complex.......just saying........
Cause solid state's probably saying to them "once you guys reach 7 albums then you can get an epic lyric video" haha
That was ball shattering exellence!!!
This is a good song, however the actual production/mixing quality of the song is fairly poor, hope they improve that for the album.
the mix is good, its just different from what you are used to probably. the mix can give everything a different sound, and this is probably what they wanted.
Chris Adam DH does like their ever continuing change in sound a bit
i enjoyed the mixing quality. it sounds different, and more mid-ish
Green Wizard I agree, a lot of songs sound too bass-y, this is quite a nice mix.
Don't know what I'm more excited for the album or tour to go with it.. Just come home to Seattle!
this is such an accurate description for the Catholic Church. and by that i mean the system and higher ups of it, not the common people. they're no real Church, they're just saying Bibical things to get power. they don't honor Jesus in any way. they're basically the Harlot riding the Beast that was spoken of in Revelation.
bro, its not all about just that problem with the catholic church.....they pray to freakin mary! it talks about how to pray directly in the bible! matthews...remember!? when christ was born, lived, died and ascended from the earth it was soon after said that the only way to reach god was through christ.....well how are we doing that if we pray to his mother???? wrong person guys!
William Reinboldt catholic logic. Son of God? Human and God in one? pray to the human side for salvation. that makes sense.
+SparksFly2323 oh crap i interpreted that wrong lol, sorry
