Good video you help me a lot
@@jveerf8573 Glad to hear. happy to help!
Great video, except for me in the research department I had to turn my elephant on in order to get the roulette wheel to spin a 7.
I found that highly missable fast travel location before I actually got the levitating skill. It was difficult and treacherous but I found it.
@@joetroutt7425 damn, that must have taken some work without the levitate.
Simple, effective, no annoying voiceover. I wish all gameplay walkthrough vids were are as to-the-point as this one. Great job and keep it up!
I purposely edit my video's this way. Nobody likes there time being wasted so I find it very important to label, timestamps and keep guides as short as possible for the viewer. I appreciate your kind words, it reminds me that I'm doing something right. Thank you.
Agree, fantastic work.
It's kind of refreshing to start a guide up without hearing "Hey what's up guys it's generic youtuber here!"
Thank you sir. Love the editing and brevity of your video. This made my fight against the fridge go smoother.
True. This is well crafted and appropriate for the content. I appreciate the restraint to let the video title be the introduction.
Assuming a content creator actually watches UA-cam videos, it takes just a bit of intentionality to avoid the cliché things that they themselves find mildly annoying.
2023 and this video helped me. Great guide all around. Thank you very much!
You're welcome!
You are the man. Helpful asf, straight to the point, EZ to follow, and with timestamps as pinned comment. Clearly pro job.
Thanks my dude, I'm glad you notice how much effort it is to make clean guides, even timestamps are time consuming, but I always add them when it comes to guides, they're essential IMO.
Thanks alot man, there was another video with more than 50k views but it was shitty, dude on that video started nowhere so I had no Idea how to get there. You are true gentleman starting from control checkpoints. Thanks alot once again.
you're very welcome, i'm glad the video helped you
Great vid. No fluff. Just spot on directions. ❤❤❤
That first one was a bitch to get, you made it look easy! Thanks so much for the video, great editing
I found some of these before I had the skill and it was killing me trying to remember. This was so easy to follow! Thanks so much!
You're very welcome
I appreciate the effort it takes to make a video like this, sincerely, to either work out, discover, or follow instructions, for the locations, then edit the video footage into an easy to follow comprehensive guide, all without player dialogue. It must have taken a long time to make. Your efforts are not in vain, they helped me at least. I accidentally stumbled on one of these locations when I was levitating. (Near the area with the plane, and go through the window)
A cheeky question following: did you spend time discovering the hidden locations to find them, or look up the information?
I'm glad I were able to help you in finding what you needed. Collectible guides do take a lot of effort to make. I respect you for understanding and mentioning this, because most people don't quite understand what it actually takes.
Answer:- I did look up some information, just to ensure I had them all, sometimes it's a walkthrough book, sometimes a video, sometimes a website such as reddit and discord depending on the game and guide.
After research of their locations, I figured out how to reach them myself due to the ground slam mechanic being patched. When the game came out you could ground slam anywhere, floors, walls and ceilings.
@@MissableContent thanks for replying!
The ground slam sounds like it was a tonne of fun before the patch, I suppose it would have made platforming easier being able to reach long distances safely (relatively speaking). Though I think it would be appropriately confusing to Ground slam, and land on a ceiling, it could have been an added layer of the weird, and questioning of reality, Control puts its players through.
Thanks for this! I almost completed the game then realized I had a ton of side missions I missed out on. This really helped!
Glad to help
Thank you so much for this. Really helpful to start from the Control points. Finally got my plat!
You're very welcome and congrats on the plat!
Well done here, I’ll definitely revisit your channel for content like this.
Just started control this week and hit a difficulty spike (failing to recover the Benicoff TV) so I’m glad I found this while looking for tips. After watching the first few seconds, I thought, “I knew levitation was going to be a thing!” I actually bumped up damage reduction in assist mode settings just to get over that hurdle so I could come back to this video today. Thanks for putting this out there!
first 1 i just can not get but thanks to guide i got enough points once i collected all the others
That first one took me a few tries 🙂
I never got the first one. I just gave up. :-/
@@Hervinbalfour The first is the hardest
Immensely helpful without wasting time. Thank you very much for this. Excellent work.
Glad to help
Thanks for this video!!!! Did everything and got them all 🔥
Anytime! I'm glad I was able to help.
Awesome so far I just got to number 3 and following your guide it's much better than the last video I saw it didn't show how to get to afew areas I didn't know cheers man it's a great guide plus idk how anyone found some of these at all even after seeing how to actually get there my eyes are now clear of confusion
I'm glad I could help!
yeah there's some hidden fast travels, especially one. I shown from a main story path fast travel how to get there (its underground)
the only one people seem to struggle with getting is the one that gives 2 points (roulette wheel) it's mostly the standing inside and outside the square around the table, if you're in too long if messes up?
I didn't have a problem with it, but some have. let me know if yours works for you once you get there.
@@MissableContent the ☎️ went off and answered it and nothing not sure if I have the 2 items
@@NeoMoonSevin honestly the games waypoint system and mission objective locations are very vague (at best) it had taken me a long time to figure out how to progress the story, many times. good luck XD
Replaying Control and this video will forever be helpful because ain't no one remembering all of these locations. some sure but not all
What a great helpful video. I did all of this in one run, thanx! 😀👍🏽
Glad to help out
Excellent tutorial! Thank you very much! Gladly subscribed!
Thank you for the support and the nice comment. Happy to help!
Had about half of these. Thank you for help with the rest.

Amazing, a true example on how to do a video guide.
Glad you think so, thank you!
Thanks for this. Nice and to the point 👊
No problem 👍
Bro you are a hero, I had left the trophy of 100 ability points but I needed 11 more to get it, I had 89. With this video I manage to get those points and get the trophy and with that, the Platinum! You helped me to not doing all those secondary missipns to get those points and saved me a lot of time. Thank you!!!
Glad to help out
Thank you for making this video 🙏
You're welcome
You earned a like and subscribe from me. Great video. The only one I haven't gotten so far is the one in the janitor's office and I am sure that is because I haven't advanced that far in the game. Thanks for the video, mate!
thank you alot this was ssuuuper helpful to get the skill tree up this place is so huge some times one forgets to look and go up 😅
No problem, glad it helped!
This is exactly what I needed to get the last trophy for the Platinum, thanks! 2 years later still helping people! :)
Glad to hear it!
Thank you legend, I gpt the platinum throphy

Thank you kindly!!
No worries!
Thank you Sir
you're very welcome, glad I could help.
I feel a little guilty for watching this, but I want to get all the Ability Points, and I know that I wouldn't find all of these by myself. Thank you!
When it comes to 100% completion playthroughs, guides are essential in modern games. That's why I made the video, so don't feel bad. Glad to help.
thank you man
No problem
awesome video
Happy to help
Good job
thankyou
ok but seriously who found that first like who in there right mind is trying to land on that specific persons head to jump higher
When the game first came out you could ground slam upwards (this got patched) so people knew where this ability point was. I then had to find a way to get up there without the ground slam and this is what I found.
its weird the breakable walls arent considered hidden locations by the game. only reason i found the first is cuz i accidentally power slammed into it, the few others ive found always have chests but arent officially 'hidden' despite being by far the most hidden thing ive ever found in this game
yeah they could have definitely made the hidden areas in better locations, some are literally entering a room etc.
YOU WERE LUCKY, MY FLOATING PEOPLE ARE NOT POSITIONED LIKE YOURS!!!
Your the first to say that, very odd...
@@MissableContent after a few refreshes I found a girl bent over with a nice flat platform for me.
@@mr.piechipsandbakedbeans7967 Nice, I'm glad you were able to fix it
6/20 the janitor room is missing the door you went through. Very helpful video but I was stuck there. The janitor is also in the room
sorry this was my first ever collectibles guide I made on UA-cam. I should have mentioned, you have to progress the story more to unlock that next location.
14:40 I thought management was wrong for putting Milton’s office in the basement (Movie: Office Space, 1999). They put two people’s office in a hole in the ceiling 😆
Hey is there a new update of this video or this is the most recent for the hidden locations? I found other videos but they were uploaded 2 years ago
this is the new update, before this update you could ground slam above you making around 6 of these very easy to reach, this video shows you how to get up to those areas without the ground slam ability (the only one i couldn't work out was number 3, you get the ability point, just not the mod box. this video is for ability points anyway so I didn't think it would matter) if you're after mods there's a faster way to farm, and I have a separate video for that too here's link for mods ua-cam.com/video/vBseQmkf9G4/v-deo.html
To resist the Mold you have to complete a mission in the Pit, that requires you to collect 5 samples of fungus. After that you get a pill that makes you immune to them.
Man I still can't believe they patched ground slam. It makes that first one soooo much harder
I agree. Ground slamming was pretty fun too.
That first one is fucking ridiculous. Why put something in a game then patch it so it's virtually impossible to get?
i agree, i hardly used the ground slam due to being restricted to its movement.
Trust me, that floating corpse hidden area was a joke, and taken a fair few tries.
The hard part is to memorize which ones you've already visited.
Ok... that first one actually pisses me off. I stacked up three vending machines just to get it. THREE. Do you know how hard it is to stack three vending machines? I do. To damn long. Thank you for the video. I'm a ding dong.
Yeah the first one is the worst! Glad to help
What was the ground slam patch? What did they do
you could ground slam anywhere (above you) so these locations were very easy to get to
#11 Did not work for me following this video. I watched a different one. 1. Don't do anything with the fish. 2. Activate both Newton's cradles (metal balls on desks). 3. As soon as you spin the roulette wheel step outside of the red carpet/dotted line.
you must have missed a step, but i'm glad you were able to do it either way, GL in the 100% run
@@MissableContent he didn't miss a step, I copied you exactly too and it didn't work, I had to use another video. Maybe a patch had changed the solution or maybe it's a region difference between versions - I'm in the UK. Rest of the guide is great though so many thanks!
@@davidjsaul must be a patch, im in the UK too. i'm glad the rest was fine to follow.
@@MissableContent If you watch different video, those combination will be vary (the puzzle was meant to gather enough luck items to get 7 on the TV). But it's important that you should mention (as I saw you did in the video) that you must step out of carpet As soon as you spin the roulette wheel.
Have used this guide twice, once on ps4 and once just now on Ps5. Both worked
#1 is literally impossible. No ledges, no stacking object THAT far up and Jesse ALWAYS slips off the damn floaters.
It is probably the hardest one to get.
#1 took me nearly as many tries as it took to kill Hartman
@@adamjohnson6026 #1 is pretty hard compared to all the rest
3:51 That door to the left is now gone lol!
This is GOD stuff
Central research #10 (don’t mind me, this is my bookmark)
Luck and problablility
There are 21.. i found one near in side mission on last part on side mission “return to sender”
I accidentally found the 19 one where theres alan wake thermos and his manuscript page damnn
Havent ventured into the pit yet cuz im scurred 🙀🙀🙀🙀
the game definitely has some spook to it :D
but be brave, you can do this!
@@MissableContent hello just finished the games story its kinda short imo,
Which exp should i play next, awe or the foundation?
@@pginaeemidris2069 i'd play foundation first. foundation kind of follows on from the main game, while awe is seperate
Can anyone share how to get to the yellow box at 1:44?
it is so difficult for me to get the first one and you don't show how to reach the second one --I tried doing what you did but it doesn't seem to work for me for the first
Im playing this now in 2024 and your guide to getting the Golden Suit didn't work. I found a different guide on youtube that showed a different process than yours and that one worked. Not sure if maybe they changed it with an update?? Your video was great though thank you
thanks. this video helped me a lot.
Anytime
How to get the second one?you only show where but it can't be reached.
i didn't show it in video, because i honestly couldn't work out how to get up to the box, it was the only box i missed, but the video is for ability points anyway, which you get from entering the room. the boxes only give you mods, which you can farm easily by doing counter measures. i have a video of how to farm counter measures/mods if that is what you're after here - ua-cam.com/video/vBseQmkf9G4/v-deo.html&t
@@MissableContent Ok. Do you have video for hidden places in DLC Foundation & AWE?
no i do not buddy, sorry
You get the second one by landing on the speakers hanging from the wall. Took me some trys but it is possible.
@@dammynation1549 yea I did it before and couldn't get it but I gave it a try again and open the box with the house memory and energy boot lvl 4 -not worth it.
For 11 I did exactly what you did and I’m not getting the skill points
I missed the mod in the box at 12:07 because I died. Sadness.
if you complete the mold sidequest you wont get hurt. i hadn't done that yet in the video which is why you saw me run in and out
@@MissableContent Thanks for replying. I figured as much, but I thought I had enough time to open the box and get the contents before I died, and I would have... were it not for that radio.
@@Darkboarder4 btw, if you do countermeasures (from your fast travel points menu) they give you an unlimited way to farm mods
12
So I can’t reach 100% because there’s this mission called put a record on …which takes you to the jukebox but instead of the mission getting started…it takes me to the expedition’s menu …that’s the one mission which won’t even trigger
the jukebox is expeditions. here's a link for the jukebox location if you can't find it ua-cam.com/video/P10Y-rLjwZw/v-deo.html
@@MissableContent I know where the jukebox is …the problem is I can’t start the mission called “put a record on “
@@siddhantdas1069 I don't know why, all you need to do is use a token in the jukebox
@@MissableContent well I did use the token …but the thing is naturally…when you start the side mission …it directly to the mission without usage of a token
@@siddhantdas1069 really late. But you gotta talk to the security guy to start the quest. He has a red thing above him.
What do you do in this game? Because I’ve looked at it for a while!
its a 3rd person shooter.
it has a skill tree, weapon upgrades etc.
main story and side quests.
your brother's missing and you're trying to find him. That's all I'm saying.
I honestly think it's worth a playthrough.
You run around confused and lost for most of the game
@@joetroutt7425 True that
Problem im having is the very first hidden location...i beat the game so theres no bodies floating around to climb onto
Hi there. What is the point of the 18th location?
It has literally nothing to get other than finding the place.
an ability point
@@MissableContent Yeah but ALL other location had something more to give.
The ability point is for just finding a hidden location.
This is the only one that has nothing else, like a record, report papers etc.
@@grayfox8904 that's true, a collectible could easily have been put there
Because everyone can just figure out how to teleport up to that second one 🤣
I can get the height by jumping off of one of the wall speakers but I can't get enough distance to come up in the right spot lol
Gotta stack two vending machines on top of one of those concrete things.
One vending maching is over in the mail room, probably should get that one first and then grab the second one right outside of the computer room at the bottom of the stairs in the corner.
This guide is for the hidden areas AKA ability points, the crates only give mods that's are easily farmable by doing countermeasures.
You don't need to get anywhere near the loot box in order to procure the ability point in this room. Just simply jump on up onto one of the concrete booths and you get the point.
If you really want to grab that loot box in there, I can help you out with that! If you're still struggling, that is...
It didn't give me a point or secret location in the mailroom
You probably already got this one, very easy one to get during gameplay.
on the janitor i only get 1 door
Continue the story, it's really early on. He will open a door for you.

How the hell do you stack objects so easily
