    Thanks, but can I use something else if I don't have a pen press?

      I've been known to use my bench vise when I can't be bothered to get out the pen press.

    Step 1: Spend thousands of dollars on lathes and fancy New Zealand wood.
    Step 2: Get the pen sets

      You can get a brand new beginner lathe for a couple hundred. That's not even considering used.

      @@WoodcraftSupply You are very much correct! I just the other day purchased a Wen lathe off Amazon, managed to snag it for $170 brand new.

    Probably a nice video, minus the absolutely obnoxious music! Music is so irritating I couldn't finish watching it. Why not keep it quiet and just let us enjoy the sounds of the workshop, lathe, etc.? Why add background noise? Can't get it.
