One of the most impacting scenes early in the series Dale just wanted to be heard express himself and not lose hope as a human being He was always the voice of reason. Daryl is the true MVP here. As the group’s second in command Shane should have carried the weight when Rick couldn’t bring himself to do what was necessary and end Dale’s suffering and that’s not a negative comment on Rick Rick’s the one with the burden of leadership and all his decisions affect the group The sudden loss of Dale was too much for Rick to take after the loss of Sophia and quarrel over what to do with Randall. Unlike Shane Daryl showed he would help Rick carry the weight Daryl replaced Shane as second in command the moment he put down Dale.

Dirty kids on a farm is nothing to even blink at. This is chaos for a child though. Still, no one is recognizing how much this kid is absorbing because of all the adult conversations this kid is exposed to. What slays me about this is, all those adults around, and no one notices this kid wandering all over. Not to mention his own parents. Dale is asking do we give up who we were totally? I think every group needs a conscience. But, they are right, the risk outweighs the conscience at times. If they had met Randall alone, this would be another scenario. Randall was with a group that tried to shoot Rick, Glenn and Hershel.

I think Dale was just super upset and distracted. I think in this world, I was closest to Dale in philosophy at this point in time. He was desperately trying to get these people to hold onto their humanity. Once Rick saved the kid's life, then he was basically a prisoner of war under his protection and no longer able to defend himself.
I remember being so annoyed by all of this as well. Why save him just to kill him? I don’t know what else they could have done. That kid would have brought those folks back. INFORMATION AND ANSWERS: Something to note about the exchange in the barn with Randell: When talking to Daryl about the girls and their father he is smiling and remembering back like it was a fun time, but once he looks up and sees how disgusted Daryl is he does a 180 and tries to backtrack. Sadly he’s just as sick as his group members and can't be trusted, but I still don’t think I would be able to take another person’s life like that. I think Hershel explained the silk sits under the wet sand and when the walkers walk on it they sink into the wet sand and get stuck in the silk layer. It’s like when you go fishing and you get stuck in the mud if you don’t watch where you're standing. It takes a lot more force to get out, but given a few minutes you can wiggle out if you're careful (as you saw with the walker). Jurassic is supposed to be the voice of the old world, so he doesn’t want the group to stoop down to murder yet. I think it was to really drive in the point that he said before the barn scene that “I may not live long, but at least I can say when the world went to crap I didn’t let it take me down with it” Andrea knew no one else would step up, but she didn’t want Dale to stand alone like that. So you may remember back when I told you the characters get stupider and the hate for Carl becomes unbearable, and this scene was playing on repeat in my head as I typed it. The ONLY reason I had no ill will against Carl is I was 11 and didn’t fully comprehend that Dale never would’ve passed if it wasn’t for Carl. Something to note about Dale's death is the person to put him down was Daryl. Specifically, Daryl took the burden from Rick when he wasn't able to do what was needed symbolizing the power switch of Daryl becoming Ricks right hand man. This also means that Shane is no longer 2nd in charge with Rick. I think they walk around the farm because Hershel’s field is fenced off. Now it’s a weak wooden fence that every other farm has, but it has been enough to keep the walkers out for now. Native Americans were nicknamed “Indians” because Columbus got confused and thought he landed in India and not North America. I believe it’s considered offensive due to the history. The correct term is Native American. They’ve always been that strong. The explanation is their pain receptors are dead, so they are always using %100 of their muscles because they don’t feel the pain of their muscles being shredded. Rick Shane Lori Carl Andrea aka Little Mermaid Dale aka Jurassic Park Glenn Daryl Carol T-dog Hershel Maggie Beth Jimmy Patricia Randall- Mr. sit on…. cute boy!
I think there are some Native Americans who are fine with being called Indians. There are some who hate being called Native American and prefer the term indigenous.
He He He, Yup Carl .... annoying, although I did think that if he survived he would grow and maybe I'd change my mind about him. I looked at it like he knew the old world but was young enough to be able to adapt to it, like a story of how the apocalypse effects the youngsters. Andrea and Shane do have their moments. Dale, I liked, I could see it wasn't about Randall, it was about once you go down that path it only gets easier to do it again after that Randall is a threat, he will lead his group to the farm given half a chance. I loved the way Herschel has come around to Glenn, giving Glenn that watch was just fantastic. Good Ol' Quaker Oats. Sorry to hear you didn't feel great, but don't worry you still made me laugh 👍I like the way you remembered Dales name on the episode he gets killed off in. RIP Jurassic Park.
As brash was Carl was in his response, he is kinda right. I wouldn't say someone is stupid, but heaven most definitely hasn't been demonstrated to exist, so it's really a pipe dream.
Actually put Carl being all over the place on Lori more so than Rick. Rick could have asked about where he's been. However, he has the fate of Randall on his hands. Lori should definitely keep a better eye on her child. Shane and Rick fought over what to do with Randall after finding out he knew Maggie. Shane is a hot head so none of his ideas are taken well.
I have zero issues with Dale being gone. He had some good moments, but he was mostly annoying to me. If I could snap my fingers and change something about these early seasons, it would be to delete Andrea and Dale 😂 Jokes aside, Dale was definitely the moral compass of the group. Which just went down the drain. Woops
Rip dale I will forever miss that long side eye he gives people. Also I would 100% buy an Andrea little mermaid shirt. Honestly it’s more Lori and Rick’s fault for what happened with Carl their parenting is lacking
its Loris fault Dale died. Dale only die here because the actor asked to leave the show. "No longer interested in continuing the series without Darabont, DeMunn asked to be killed off. "Dale's death was my decision,"
Ok, I will break my rule of not giving my opinion until the end of the season and talk about Andrea. Maybe I am bias because I know Andrea from the comics. She was a pretty awesome character in the comics. I can't say more because it might be a spoiler. But there is a reason that she is so into guns. No, doubt Carl messed up in this episode. He is a child though, and didn't think about consequences. I blame Lori, who was too busy playing the queen bee thinking she is above everyone to even watch her child. Oops! Broke my rule about not discussing characters again. lol I just hate Lori so much. I watched this episode when it first aired and I couldn't sleep all night because every time I closed my eyes I saw Dale getting torn apart. Great reaction. Much love.
If I said that than people would argue me down the other way..at the point I realized it's you damned if u do damned if u don't type of show...lol...that was my feelings tho can't change it. The show is good at making us have the discussion if certain people or characters are doing right or wrong
@@AndresElRey It's okay, you don't have to pay attention to us, everyone has their opinion. And yes, the show is doing a good job when we get so into it that we questioning decisions of the characters.... Lol and they are still behaving in a "civilized" way.
Dale was the moral compass the way i see it is whats the point of trying to rebuild the world when your just killing everybody just because they might do something. Now granted if i was in ricks position I'd probably do the same thing
I mean, that kid was going to bring his group back to the farm given a chance. I don’t know what the answer should be, but I do know they couldn’t keep him there and they couldn’t let him go. I just was annoyed that Rick ever brought him back in the first place.
Carl gets way better in the upcoming seasons...much stronger and braver, way less annoying. He becomes one of my favorite characters, behind Rick and Daryl.
I found Dale to be kinda annoying in this episode because his obsession with keeping Randell alive had nothing to do with caring for Randell or about what Randell did/didn't do. He was more concerned at the fact that the group he's a part of was about to start killing the living. It didn't matter to him what the risks of keeping Randell alive were. He just couldn't accept the reality of haven to kill the living in this new world and wanted everyone else to be as deliberately naive as he was.
I don’t know if anyone said it yet but t dog apparently had more lines but the actor who played him was notoriously late and unprofessional when he got on set. He did it to his damn self andJurassic park would have died no matter what cuz Lori ass don’t watch her damn son! She gets on my nerves lol
I know you said you dont care that Carl is a child but i do think it matters. If this was regular life i could understand the hate or annoyance for him. However i always try to put myself in ppl's shoes. Its easy to judge others when you havent been in someone's situation. Yeah ppl could say that they know they would act a certain way if they were in this situation. But you really dont know. Its like when every1 says if they won the lottery they would be smart about it but then they end up broke with in a year. I mean idk how i would act in his shoes. If i thought i lost my dad then i lost all my friends & the last kid my age. Then i had to see ppl get eaten right in front of me at any age that messes with your head now imagine a kid going thru it.
Speaking of Sons of Anarchy, after a couple of more episode you will be just has hooked on that show as this one. And the reason T Dog doesn't get much is because he isn't in the comics and they have no idea what to do with him. By the way there are no native Americans. DNA has already proven they are Siberian Asian colonizers in North and Central America and Polynesian colonizers in South America. So that's not really a correct term either.
LOL You point out things I didnt think about on my first watch. So ya, you right. BUT we all know the arcs that are coming as you stated. With that being said, Carl is in his bitch ass stage. Kids Ugh lol. I think the Dale character was put on the show to kill him to symbolize losing their moral compass or the way the world was... the the literal death of the past and the rebirth of what this group will be in the new world. This is now a family... one day they make you laugh or cry and the next they annoy the shit out of you. However, if anyone crosses a really terrible line .. they are no longer family, just like in real life. PS LMAO on your TDog thoughts
Carl has got zero parental oversight. Lori failing to keep an eye on him( like 3 separate times just in this episode) is infuriating. Given her adherence to traditional gender roles I do hold her more responsible than Rick for Carl being a brat. Hershel mellowed out after the barn and I like the character a lot more now. Dale thinks he was saving the groups soul. I think he was wrong but a lot of viewers side with him. Randall should never have been brought back to camp after he fired on them.
Omg, yes. YT has been deleting an assload of my comments lately!! Not from reaction videos, but political videos, lol! It's really annoying though. I go through all the time and trouble to reply to some crazy bs and then it just disappears?! Not cool 😒
I was going too but I didn't hear anything about it if people liked it or not it wasn't trending once I was/ am nervous to start it if people aren't into it lol
Dale aka Jurassic Park is the absolute worst and he shows that in this episode. He always thinks he knows better than everyone else and despite getting outvoted on three separate occasions keeps whining about having a ssytem and a process. Ugh good riddance Jurassic Park.
He goes way too far with it in this episode. No one would care THAT MUCH about a stranger, especially one who has shown to be dangerous and in an enemy group, in the apocalypse. It's just way too much. @@ChrissonatorOFL
And I know you're not a huge fan of Andrea but she becomes really good. I still wish Maggie would die she's just irritating and to much to handle. Carol on the other hand becomes the baddest bad ass of the entire show. Carol is by far the best character in TWD

He is playing pretend and it got real and got Dale killed. It is frustrating, but i do understand it. It is probably pretty accurate for a kid in this trauma.
@@trinitybernhardt9944 Bravo! If I could "like" your comments a hundred times, I would. Agree with everything 👏🏽
@@kimberlywilmoth9184 thank you. It is nice to know others see it in a similar way.
I said when I first start watching this show that Lori and Rick should pay more attention to their son and the only thing I can say about this episode is that he's a child alone he has no other children around him like one of the other commoners said he's only around adults and listening to adult conversations that is no excuse but it is what it is Lori is his mother Rick is the leader of this group He's trying to keep people safe and keep things together I blame Lori she should keep an eye on her child she telling him to go in the house with Jimmy and didn't even know where he was 5 minutes ago I'm sorry people who like Lori but Lori always got on my nerves she's needy she can't do anything to help protect the group when she's in Andrea face that last episode about what she should be doing by the way I was team Andrea on that conversation I love this show from the beginning when I first started watching it this has been my show Andres you make very good points I like you and I'm going to keep watching your reactions❤
❤️
Both Carl and Lori become even worse later on…lol…so I can’t wait for you to see that …poor Dale…I cried too when he died…😢😢😢…you’re gonna trip off the next few episodes especially season 3…keep up the amazing reactions 😊
Face it, you love the sound of your own voice or your thoughts to mouth manifested and if we weren't here for that we wouldn't be here. I'm here for it. If ever I comment something about a view it isn't a correction, its my personal insight I wish to share with you specifically even if chances are you don't read it. FLAIL THEM HANDS! INFORMATION AND ANSWERS:
Something to note about the exchange in the barn with Randell: When talking to Daryl about the girls and their father he is smiling and remembering back like it was a fun time, but once he looks up and sees how disgusted Daryl is he does a 180 and tries to backtrack.
I think it was to really drive in the point that he said before the barn scene that “I may not live long, but at least I can say when the world went to crap I didn’t let it take me down with it”
Andrea knew no one else would step up, but she didn’t want Dale to stand alone like that.
Rick
Shane
Lori
Carl
Andrea aka Little Mermaid
Dale aka Jurassic Park
Glenn
Daryl
Carol
T-dog
Hershel
Maggie
Beth
Jimmy
Patricia
Randall- Mr. sit on….
Dale, I liked, I could see it wasn't about Randall, it was about once you go down that path it only gets easier to do it again after that
Randall is a threat, he will lead his group to the farm given half a chance.
Yea that's where he should keep his opinion to himself nobody comes for my Carol lol
I whole-hardheartedly agree. Carl is annoying.
No one EVER watches Carl, it gets worse lol. But I do love him. Love love love your reaction, makes my day ❤️
Yass love this ❤️
The Tyra Banks clip 😂😂😂
I love your reactions. Ready for the next one
Carl pissed me off for 2 seasons. baby boy had me pissed!!!! Carl Definitely got Dale Ki!!ed.
Carl blames himself cause it was the walker that was stuck in the mud that he couldn't kill..... so it's his fault that Dale died.
I have zero issues with Dale being gone. He had some good moments, but he was mostly annoying to me. If I could snap my fingers and change something about these early seasons, it would be to delete Andrea and Dale 😂
Jokes aside, Dale was definitely the moral compass of the group. Which just went down the drain. Woops
Rip dale I will forever miss that long side eye he gives people. Also I would 100% buy an Andrea little mermaid shirt. Honestly it’s more Lori and Rick’s fault for what happened with Carl their parenting is lacking
Lol dake and his long side eye lol
its Loris fault Dale died. Dale only die here because the actor asked to leave the show. "No longer interested in continuing the series without Darabont, DeMunn asked to be killed off. "Dale's death was my decision,"
Where was T-dog when Dale was getting his guts ripped out 🙄
Ok, I will break my rule of not giving my opinion until the end of the season and talk about Andrea.
Much love.
I don't blame Carl, he's a child after all, adults are the ones who are everywhere, I don't know why people expect composure from a child. 😅
Jurassic Park is anti murder. On with him
Running joke with people that watch this show is “where’s Carl?” Because he’s always off on his own.
Typing ferociously...love your reactions in spite of you being a Rick hater. Keep them coming.
I liked Dale a lot, not really sure why. His death made me mad and sad back when this season aired.
Carl gets way better in the upcoming seasons...much stronger and braver, way less annoying. He becomes one of my favorite characters, behind Rick and Daryl.
We didn't need to know this
I found Dale to be kinda annoying in this episode because his obsession with keeping Randell alive had nothing to do with caring for Randell or about what Randell did/didn't do.
You are dead on w the character & plot observances. Best believe I was yelling at the screen my first viewing. I Hated Carl too till season 3.
Great show
LOL You point out things I didnt think about on my first watch.
Can someone explain to me the look Lori gives Rick when he fails to kill the guy? Is it disappointment? She just looks pissed to me
Carl has got zero parental oversight.
Andres I will never come at you 😊I will always be with you but will let you know what I feel 💯
Yassss ❤️
This why a lot of people hate Lori cuz she ain’t ever watching her kid 😭
Wait? People dont like carl? I love carl! Him and rick are the walking dead to me.
⚔️🖤⚔️
Omg, yes. YT has been deleting an assload of my comments lately!! Not from reaction videos, but political videos, lol! It's really annoying though. I go through all the time and trouble to reply to some crazy bs and then it just disappears?! Not cool 😒
I've got to know you have gorgeous eyes. Are they your real color or contacts? If contacts very cool. I hope all is well my friend. 🫶🙂🙏
Carl was annoying. But yeah, you know what? Kids are often annoying. 😆

@@AndresElRey PLEASEEEE still react to it! i see it getting slow traction but it’s a premiere and i can see it being an underrated show!
Dale aka Jurassic Park is the absolute worst and he shows that in this episode. He always thinks he knows better than everyone else and despite getting outvoted on three separate occasions keeps whining about having a ssytem and a process. Ugh good riddance Jurassic Park.
Because he maintained his humanity, rather than turning into a vicious killer like Shane?
He goes way too far with it in this episode. No one would care THAT MUCH about a stranger, especially one who has shown to be dangerous and in an enemy group, in the apocalypse. It's just way too much. @@ChrissonatorOFL
And I know you're not a huge fan of Andrea but she becomes really good. I still wish Maggie would die she's just irritating and to much to handle. Carol on the other hand becomes the baddest bad ass of the entire show. Carol is by far the best character in TWD
