Being there to experience has got to be the balls my friend I've been to a bunch of concerts throughout my life and seen lightning caught in a bottle and there's nothing like it
Only in Ireland.. I've seen him twice and I would have died to have seen this one.. Irish folk music .. Fabulous.. Who says Bruce Springsteen isn't Irish?? Agree.. Johnny Cash .. his spirit right there..
Love it and the best part is it's not only the Audience having the time of their lives but Bruce and the band are having a great time along with them.🎼♥️🇦🇺💋🇺🇸
Bravo to the Boss. Jesse W. James. Murdered by a traitor and coward whose name is not worthy to apear here. Respect for a man. Wonderful song by Bruce & Company.
I have been a musician for 50 yrs and we have always talked and experimented with the build up to the "BIG FINISH" after half a century I found the ultimate "BIG FINISH" this is it. Just when you think its as good as it can get the trumpet starts "screechin'" Man I just gotta dance every sigle time I hear it. PS IM IRISH AND I LOVE JESSE JAMES AND THE YOUNGERS AND THIS SONG. Im so glad an Ol' Northern Born fella paid respect to a TRUE AMERICAN DIXIE HERO LIKE OUR REBL BROTHER JESSE JAMES! YOU GO BRUCE!!😄 GOD BLESS THE CONFEDERACY AND GOD BLESS JEFFERSON DAVIS AND GOD BLESS JESSE JAMES!!
Great... Tbh I think ur voice was better on the BBC seeger gig in the church than this Dublin dvd an album.. Still brilliant ... this seeger stuff is awesome..

@@Jason-jn9sk it's you who's missing the point tbh. Bruce Springsteen is a story teller and an entertainer. This concert is one of the greatest live performances of all time.

Definitely has the Irish folk quality…but nothing more American than Jesse James…a product of his times…

Jesse James was a lad
That killed many a man
He robbed the Glendale train
He stole from the rich
And he gave to the poor
He'd a hand and a heart and a brain
Well it was Robert Ford
That dirty little coward
I wonder now how he feels
For he ate of Jesse's bread
And he slept in Jesse's bed
And he laid poor Jesse in his grave
Well Jesse had a wife
To mourn for his life
Three children
Now they were brave
Well that dirty little coward
That shot Mr. Howard
He laid poor Jesse in his grave
Well Jesse was a man
A friend to the poor
He'd never rob a mother or a child
There never was a man with the law in his hand
That could take Jesse James when alive
It was on a Sunday night
Well the moon was shining bright
They robbed the Glendale train
And people they did say o'er many miles away
It was those outlaws Frank and Jesse James
Well Jesse had a wife
To mourn for his life
Three children
Now they were brave
Well that dirty little coward
That shot Mr. Howard
He laid poor Jesse in his grave
Now the people held their breath
When they heard of Jesse's death
They wondered how he'd ever come to fall
Robert Ford it was a fact
He shot Jesse in the back
While Jesse hung a picture on the wall
Jesse went to rest with his head on his breast
The devil upon his knee
He was born one day in County Clay
And he came from a solitary race
Well Jesse had a wife
To mourn for his life
Three children
Now they were brave
Well that dirty little coward
That shot Mr. Howard
He laid poor Jesse in his grave
dislike is envy Ó Ó. Bruce the Boss. Yes
Absolutely superb! Also apart from production value what's the difference between this and say, the Wolfetones?
Loving the Irish Folk Music 🤗😍😘😇 They shot poor Jesse James in his Grave, BBehind Bars the lot if them!!!!
irish folk Music have so long tradition behind it got a tail by its own !
It's an American folk song
A great musician to be sure. I'm don't know about glorifying a murderer though.
it's an old folk song and for better or for worse Jesse indeed was glorified back in the 1800's. It's history wether u like it or not
@@arsletirott I think you're missing the point. It may be an old song but the artist shows his support for the content by covering the song.

This concert is the definition of tryharding.
Great song but Jesse was a gorilla fighter and not the robin hood angel that he is depicted to be.
guerrilla*
Gorilla, lol
He fought gorillas??!! Damn that man was tough lol
Sure he was Robin Hood.
