I've been watching you guys for a few years and the one thing that truly impresses me is your ability to keep everything organized while travelling, cooking and sleeping. I know it takes a tremendous amount of effort and planning to keep everything organized day to day. I travel alot for work, leaving my home near Peterborough Ontario and travelling to remote worksites across Canada. This year I thought I would try something different, rather than stopping to eat out every meal I decided I would cook for myself along the way. The reward of preparing my own meals is awesome. Thanks for the inspiration and enjoy your time in Ontario.
It really WARMS my heart each time I watch your videos…first to see you all together. How amazing it is to travel with your children and experiencing everything with them! PRICELESS!!! Second, for taking me with you in your wonderful journey! I am more than grateful to have seen many stunning places, watched soooo many epic moments that takes my breath away (just like that newborn baby moose…wow!) or just simply watching you having coffee/supper together surrounded by such beauty of this beautiful land or huddled in your jeep because it’s raining…♥️….and of course LANDÓ gets me all the time!!!! ♥️😘😍🤗THANK YOU THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart Epic family! I always pray for your safety. Thank you that you made it to your cabin safe and sound. Carol, I can’t help but noticed the antler you found, neatly tucked in on the side of the jeep. I was so excited for you when you spotted that gem!!! I can’t wait to see where you’re going to put that in your cabin. I love you EPIC FAMILY. Enjoy your cabin and I can’t wait for the next video! Cheers!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Pete you are very correct every area has some type of beauty. That is the key to life, to find some kind of beauty in everything. So glad you made it back to the cabin safely. As always thank you each for allowing us to tag along on this epic adventure!
When I was Ontario, the beauty of nature inspired me a lot. What's the most valuable heritage? That's family oriented thing and not a money and fame. You will survive successfully in even money oriented society based on Henry David Thoreau's Walden. Jeep will survive in level4 auto drive system period, too.
Guys i was just in the u.p. for the firts time a couple weeks ago. I rode my bike around lake michigan. It was amazing. Stayed a night in a cabin near paradise in a cabin on lake superior. Im going back to sxs in a week and a half. I cant wait.
Caroline is the best editor!, phew that scene when you guys are near Teddy NP blow out with the classical music . Glad you guys got back safe to the cabin.
So my wife and I have been thinking of road tripping from our home in NW New Jersey out to western North Dakota to visit where she grew up and your latest vid made up my mind… absolutely!! Thanks for the awesome footage. Enjoy your time back at the Cabin.
what a rad heater upgrade! So glad you got all the new batteries and set the whole off grid system up. What happened to Vandi when it broke down? You trimmed down the fleet to jet back tot he cabin ;-) so rad you got to see a baby moose calf. Shooting with a camera lets them live longer ;-) enjoy your cabin after the Covid hiatus
U guys went through Duluth! I live in the twin cities and go up north past Duluth all the time! Try taking a drive up the north shore of Minnesota! Waterfalls galore, Bear, moose, and gorgeous scenery!! I think you guys would really enjoy it! Love seeing everyone get back home safe and sound!
Another great video! Love the additions to the Jeeps. The friendships & camaraderie with other overlanders seems great...X Overland, Lifestyle Overland, etc. And such a rare video of Lando still and sleeping...looks like the "kids" were wiped out, too. God Bless and Safe Travels!
Epic travels. Loved seeing the baby moose. I was lucky to see a new-born and mom in Vermont a few years ago. Glad you guys made it to the cabin. Cheers-
Good to see you make it back safely back to Ontario. We seem to have been traveling in your tracks (Texsas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, back to Az, NM then up to Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana) since March 21 and were hoping to cross paths but you were always about a month ahead based on videos :). We are just finishing up in Montana (Yellowstone has re-opened!) and traveling to Alberta then back to Ontario. Glad to have taken the kids out of school and given them a glimpse of "different" knowledge out there. Apparently the young generation calls this "touching the grass" :)
Great video, love the new heater install. As you passed through my home state of WI and surrounding states where I grew up skiing, camping, boating, etc....Peter, I was thinking the same thing you said, "there is beauty everywhere". Glad you are home, and we look forward to your upcoming off-grid cabin living.
Been watching for a long time but never commented until now! I have traveled places that I will never see in my lifetime, thanks to you. I have enjoyed it tremendously!!! Glad you made it home safely! Thanks again!
Hi Barbara. Thank you for watching and for leaving a comment. We are so glad you have enjoyed our channel so far. We hope you will enjoy our cabin videos while we are here living off the grid. While we are here we are updating passports and all the other paperwork in preparation for our next Overland adventures. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

I really love the video that was a really cool heater system that you put in I’ll have to look into that one I’ve been thinking about instead of running propane bottles in my rooftop tent Tepui running a diesel heater I think you’re in the same spot that I had visited in Dakota but there’s a camping area that’s all the way at the bottom that’s where I stayed. can’t believe it’s almost been two years since you’ve been back at the cabin can’t wait to see more videos ok 👌🏼🔥🤠🔥Camping Russ out
Hey guys, happy that you make it back home. Its been 2 years of really cool adventures, with ups and downs . Now us time to enjoy your cabin in till the next road trip. Big hug and thank you for every adventure.
Glad you have made it back to the cabin. I envy your life style. The boys must have left the bikes in Montana. If you ever find yourself going through Nacogdoches Texas you are always welcome. My wife and I also have a girl and two boys. But they are grown and are living their own life’s. My wife and I think that your son Peter and our youngest son could pass for brothers they look so much alike. Enjoy your stay at the cabin.
Thanks to you guys we finally decided to do our first road trip. From CT to Nevada- Wyoming - Colorado and back to CT it’s going to be 2 weeks. We are so excited 😆.
the info up to 10m19s is quite helpful, txs! Do you have a DC-DC charger and/or beefed alternator to charged your 300A of batteries? Why'd you go with 4*75Ahr BB vs their "game changer 285Ahr" units? For HOT temps, do you have a Maxxair Fan or a 12V AC to cool the interior?
Nice family and great videos . I believe you guys will change to a bigger offroad vehicle soon so don't waste your money on Jeeps . Those two are good just for half a day of travel.
I lived| in Tulsa, close to sapulpa. We're you close to either of those when you had your work done on your vehicle, parts? Heard you mentioned Outfitters. We used to live in Amarillo, and Pampa. I still have family in Amarillo. Now my children and part of my grandchildren live in Ft Worth Texas. I have family in beautiful NW Arkansas, siloam springs.
I love all the upgrades that you do to your vehicles and to help your lifestyle. How long before you use that roof solar panel to power the jeeps? I think it would be awesome!
@around the 23 minute mark you are going right past where I grew up. Would have been cool to see you guys pass through. You could have done some camping in the Chequamegon National Forest near Iron River, Wisconsin on HWY 2 as you were going through.
Amazing videos as always! Was wondering if you could point me in the direction of the Webasto installation location so I could talk to them. I’m finishing up a SEMA build and would love to chat with them on some things. Thanks and take care!
I'd be curious as to how much your final set up would cost. It almost seems easier to buy a truck and truck camper set up with all this included and have more comfort creatures of home. Having said that, I realize a truck camper set up can't go everywhere a Jeep can but it seems way more convenient to me. Cheers!
Love your videos and lifestyle. Sometimes your audio isn’t the best. Have you heard of the DJI mic system. Great reviews am getting one myself. The sell out fast.
Great video. Love learning about your creative build solutions. Would you please link to the limb brush guard (wire connection up front) product? Safe travels.

Any concerns having batteries so low and potential high water crossings? Or do you just avoid any high water? And are there elevation limits to the heater? Thanks again and enjoy being home.
Even in Highwater we don’t seem to get a lot in the vehicle. Most heaters struggle at 10,000 feet, these will work if we burn them hot which is what we plan to do in higher elevations. Hope that helps have a wonderful day.
you seem, as a family to have a wonderful Hellenic virtue called 'philotimo', a four syllable word with a plethora of meaning no one can nail down exactly; not Oxford, Webster or to even Plato, however it reminds one of all 'what is to be pure and human'. Evge once again!
We talked about it at the very end of the Towing video, but it was a ruptured fuel line. We are thankful that Vandi is back up and on the road. Have a wonderful day.
I have a gas espar, it starts to flake out at around 9500 feet in elevation even though it’s rated to go to 10,000 feet in elevation. I am very interested to see how the webasto does at elevation like that because I do a lot of mountain camping I can’t always use my heater. Chip and Dan, if you has a heater that can get to 10k+ that runs from gas, would be very interested.
He’d go all day if we let him. We can always tell when he’s a little bit tired and will stop and bring him in. He can do 5 miles at a full run no problem.
Wow, the explanation was at the very, very end. I stopped watching when you guys reunited with the old friends. Glad it was simple.I thought it was strange nobody seemed to crawl under the jeep to see if there was anything obvious when it broke down. Maybe you did but left it out of the vid. OR I missed it lol.
Hello everyone, I'm still following this wonderful family here in Brazil. God bless you all
Been away from your channel for a little while ( work related )Now I’m back watching all of them they all get better and better.

The battery choice was due to size and space constraints. The solar panels on the roof keeps the batteries charged.

what did you do with the trailer
We left it in storage while we are at the cabin.
When the dog runs on the trail, how many miles does he usually do before he’s ready to get back in the Jeep?
He’d go all day if we let him. We can always tell when he’s a little bit tired and will stop and bring him in. He can do 5 miles at a full run no problem.

Where would y'all next road trip be to?
We are just trying to figure that out. Iceland and parts of Europe maybe.
@@EFRT that would definitely be an epic road trip.
Ok ... got a question for you. What happened to the bikes? Did you leave them behind???
