- In this new series we're building the new Messerschmitt Bf109G-14 "Hartmann" from Zoukei Mura.
In the second of a two part episode we mask the model and paint the theatre markings and the national insignia

Hope you're feeling better soon Steve. Fabulous progress and the paint job is exquisite, really enjoying your builds.
tThanks John 👍
Great video as always.
Wouldnt be a model shed video with wildlife audio, haha.
Get well soon steve
Thanks Jerry feeling better now 👍
Great video Steve, and paint job. Hope you start feeling better soon.
Thank you I’m on the mend now 😃
Get well soon Steve, nice work.
Thanks John 👍
I like the look the masks give for the insignia, no worries about adding the decals and whatever softening solution you prefer. Take care of yourself, stay warm have a nice hot cup of tea with a bit of rum added.
Thanks sounds like a good plan 👍
great work on ,national markings
Cheers Mick 👍
Beautiful paint work! I’m intrigued to see how the application of the tulip around the nose goes for you.
Should be ok - the decals are cartograph so good quality
Happy new year Steve
That a pleasure to watch your beautiful job on all your projects (not only BF) , plus the background audio outside is nice, peaceful and relaxing … and it’s the idea with models hobby 👍
Nice day to you
Thanks Laurent
Lovely. Thanks again for sharing with us.
you’re welcome 👍
Hi Steve. Some excellent scale modelling skills on display here! Very nice indeed.👍😎
THanks very much Lloyd 👍
Very impressive!!
Cheers Paul 👍
Very Nice!
Thanks Andreas 👍
This has been a rural production. Cast include Ronnie the rooster + numerous other external sound effects the 109 is really coming on now. I genuinely wish you better health and a happy new year. I hope your cold doesn’t develop into anything more serious I had a stinking coughing episode for several days after my cold.
Ronnie is a new arrival and he’s certainly making himself heard. Fortunately he’s a late riser so he doesn’t bother us in the early morning 🐓🐓🐓🐓
Hi,Steve! I have seen, that you had to fill gaps and correct the lower engine cowl. What is your résumé?Would you buy the kit again? Can you recommend it?Is it worth the price?
Hi Detlev I would say that it’s only one to go for if you’ve got the experience to get the fit right. it’s definitely over engineered and I’d only do another if I were going to build it in skeleton form to show off the internals perhaps with extra detailing. The Revell 109G kits are much cheaper and although not as well detailed could give a similar result.
Ignor the cling film ref I was just joking -but serious question do you think masks are so much better than Decals - Clearly its more work and time but is it worth it especially at the larger scales and cost point of the model ??
I do Ralph and even more so at larger scales. I wouldn’t do it in 1/72 for sure but whenever I can in 1/32
the black tape you used in 5a you can get it on ebay i do not think it is silly dear
Thanks Tonia 👍
ah -but areyou saving the planet with clinfilm ?????
😬😃
