I'm wokring on a unit that has a lot of gold and the thing I just haven't figured out is varnish. Any tips for getting a good clear coat on gold metallics paints without ruining the shine and color?

May use this technique for my Bastian Carthalos 🙂. Could you use a purple glaze instead of diluted contrast such as TTC purple glaze?
