due to air resistance the javelin will travel more distance if the angle is around 30-35 degrees instead of 45

Nice video, but there are a bunch of errors and neglections unfortunately. Firstly, the angle of the javelin axis with the surface is not exactly the angle of the initial velocity with the ground. Secondly, an athlete does not control the initial velocity of the javelin, but the total impulse that he can give to it. This means that by changing the launch angle also the velocity module changes, being maximum if the javelin is thrown horizontally (since the gravity is applied perpendicularly) and being minimum if it is thrown vertically (since the gravity in this case acts parallel to the applied force)
How can u tell the angle is wrong?
Eventho it is not thrown from initial point as ground , it follows similar path
If ur throwing horizontally the net velocity will be between the stick n the gravity which means it will go very less range
Also here we didn't include air resistance
But impulse is definitely true, more the impulse u give in 45* angle more range will be covered

do tin physics bata k kohi javelin thrower hota nahi...us k liye hard work karna parta hay...
may javelin vi throw karta hun or physics vi parta hun ...isiliye may asob bata raha hun...

Theta is taken as the angle bw to x axis direction of trajectory.

Umm ..btw that's not the only physics applied on this...aerodynamics and centre of gravity also effects ..and the angle is not exact 45degrees it is slightly less or more
