Honestly, in my opinion, vehicle cargo was always worth doing even before the update, because once you have an office and warehouse, there's no cost first required before you can start to earn money and for me this has always been a ton of fun doing! If you're good at it, you can make sure you never get much damage to the cars, even though this might take you a bit longer, but in GTA Online you definitely shouldn't be always focused on making the biggest amount of GTA$ per hour, because then the game gets boring very fast!
I used to grind vehicle cargo quite a bit, but now I just keep a full warehouse as a "savings account" for the rare times that the payouts are boosted. The trick for the sell missions is to get out of the car and fight all three waves of NPS on the ground with a minigun. When they're all dead, just drive to the drop point in peace.
Doing the same. And to elaborate a bit more about the NPC's and getting out of the car quickly, it's because they only shoot at you, and not the car. So once you know where they spawn, you can park your car there , etc.
Ooooor you can just use a cargobob, pick up the car and fly high enough so that the npcs won’t even spawn, I used to think accidentally buying a cargobob had been a mistake, now I use it all the time to sell vehicle cargo
When you are selling the vehicle you will get a call you will have to instantly hang up the call and pull out your gun and aim for 5 seconds. This will make it that the NPC’s won’t spawn and you won’t take damage while delivering the car.
Collections need HUGE buff in price. Also it will be a good adition to move all cars to a new garage. 2,850,000 garage is not only the most expensive, but also best locationwise, but 1,500,000 is a good starting garage with ok location.
Spot on with this guide .u can also get out the car when the NPC's come after u do your car don't take any damage.it can be annoying though having to take out 4 waves of enemies
Beats touched on it at the end, the vehicle cargo warehouse also has space for the special vehicles. And doing steal missions unlocks the special vehicle work giving you trade prices on some of the special vehicles such as the phantom wedge.
I feel like if this business was permanently tripled like the hangar, I may consider it again but I feel like $100k per car every 20-30 minutes isn't worth the hassle. I'll just stick to having 32 cars in my vehicle warehouse (1 variation of each car) and only selling top range cars when there's a bonus week.
How to source 2 at a time - get friend to source for him self BUT give car to you instead 😉, you can deliver his vehicle and your own after each other if 4 friend then can do 4 cars at once 😆
There are only 10 different standard range and 10 different mid-range car models. It is only 12 top range cars. You don’t want to get over 32 cars, since you will start sourcing duplicate models.
10 Standard range but each car has 3 colour variants so that is 30 potential Standard range cars. Same with Mid range. Top range has 12 cars with 3 different colours, so that's 36.
It's nice that there's a high demand bonus now, but I would say import/export still isn't worth it. The maximum profit on a high-end car is $130K, assuming max high demand bonus and zero damage to the car at any point. This is if everything goes perfectly, which is unlikely between aggressive NPCs and griefers. Meanwhile, you can do a payphone hit for $85K...and then do one of these to make $50K: mixed goods sale at office, spare parts sale at bunker, fix up customer bike at MC club. It still takes around the same time as sourcing and selling a high-end car, but the income is a lot more consistent, and you don't need to go to a public lobby. Payphone hits also have a 20 min cooldown, same as selling an import/export car. Import/export really needs a permanent 1.5-2x buff to base payout for it to be worthwhile. The main reason to have this business now is to own the Phantom Wedge to make the Longfin prep faster in the Cayo Perico heist.
Still needs another buff imo because payphone hits and dax missions pay close the the same amount in less time with no risk of losing money and cayo perico, casino heist and dr Dre contract pay way more
I don’t get how these ppl in the comments are saying I/E isn’t “Worth it” lol. It’s one of the most underrated businesses IMO, to make quick & easy money. I can easily make 1.5 to 2 million in a day, solo btw, while working on my other businesses like Acid, Nightclub, Bunker, Auto Shop (Union Depository), MC (Coke & Meth), Agency, to double that even more. Edit: I will certainly say, I/E is way better than having to overwork yourself sourcing Warehouse Crates all day as if I’m working at Amazon or some shit.
In my personal opinion, I still think vehicle cargo is not the greatest. It’s certainly not bad at all but not great, here’s my take. The business did get a buff where you can sell in public lobbies, making payout much more than it was, however, that did not change the overall experience for me. The time it takes to stock your warehouse with appropriate cars, sourcing those cars, and selling the top range ones, take more time than ceo cargo. Also there is the factor that you can actually loose money when sourcing and selling these cars. You have to pay damage cost on source missions, while yes, you can make back that money easily, it’s still never a true 80k profit, unless you have perfect condition cars every time. Also when you sell, there is potential to lose money via damages as well. While this can easily be avoided unlike during the source missions for vehicle cargo, it’s still potential for lost money. It is these factors that make me focus my time on other businesses other than vehicle cargo. Side note: I am not saying this business is bad, I’m implying that in my opinion, it is not worthy of the praise most people give it
Man when did rockstar take off thst limit. Im mas bro. I used to be anle to source top range all the timr cuz i has my other ranges full. Now there no limit smh
If you want to source Top Range cars exclusively my suggestion would be that you sell your duplicate standard range and your two mid range cars. You sell your duplicate model top range. There are 32 different (10 standard, 10 mid range and 12 top range) if you have your vehicle warehouse with 31 cars. Then you will source a top range car. Once you get above 32 cars full you will then source duplicates which could be standard or mid range cars too.
Erm...they make good guides? Didn't TGG get the payouts all wrong when talking about Doomsday Heists recently? Don't even get me started on The "Professional" -_-
I think its maby worth to do this business. You need more time to collect the cars in comparison with other businesses. And there is a source mission that is impossible. At least for me. With the gargobob. If the npc not shoot me down. The hook will not work. And 99% i crash. If i get this source mission i sink all wat is floating and start a new source mission.
for solo players, if u source/export car in private session, after u see first enemy spawn just jump out of the car and go like 20m away, for high end u have 3 waves of enemies. if u do it like this u can get 0 dmg on car or less then 1000$.
For my experience this business is still not worth it. The source missions are way to hard. And i get only 20k up to 30k max a top range car. If its not been blown up . 4 out of 5 cars of the sell missions ends with a blown up car. The auto shop is way better
To get the top-tier vehicle sourcing mission every time, do I need to acquire 12 mid-range and 12 standard cars? Does it make a difference whether I have a duplicate car on the mid-range or standard cars? I ask because some people suggested I should have to acquire 10 or 11 on the standard and mid-range vehicle.
There are only 10 different standard and mid range. It is only top range that has 12 different cars. As long as you keep a full set of standard and mid range cars, you will only source top range cars until you get above 32 cars in your vehicle warehouse.
@@RevarBB Nightclub, Special Cargo (for ranking up), Acid Lab, I even do gunrunning occasionally. MC usually has crap sell missions, ImpEx has crap source missions and the Hanger Biz is just crap, even with the permanent 3x money.

Same here. And I also totally agree.
True but if you want top range only, you gotta fill it up first with standard and mid range. I frgt how many exactly, but you get the point

You can do the same for sourcing vehicles to avoid any damage from npc’s if you really want to as they have limited spawns as well (3-4 waves)
