East Broad Top Railroad - Christmas in Coal Country 2023

On November 24 & 25, 2023, we find ourselves in Coal Country of west central Pennsylvania at the East Broad Top Railroad for the Christmas in Coal Country trains. This is the first time since 2011 that the EBT has had running steam for Christmas in Coal Country trains.

Very neat cann i was planning to go out for last operating weekend last year but something cropped up im planning a redo this year and to try get nice shots of 16 at night

Can you imagine them running all the way to Robertsdale or even beyond? They are supposed to restore to Saltillo first. Beyond Saltillo are two tunnels that will need major work, one or both have cave ins.
