I am always fascinated to see such talented brilliant children. I could not help but feel for the little guy when he cried because he did not win. I think it is especially hard on children who are so bright and talented to learn to accept loss. It was not exactly a fair contest after all. His tears reminded me that he really is just a three year old child, one with the spirit of a grizzly bear.
Karpov is the best player to get young players good. Very polite and allways talks in very good manner about young players. I still remember what he said when he lost against Carlsen at young age "He have great new ideas" Kasparov said nothing...
Incredible video! I'm Nhat Huy, 6 years old, and I'm amazed by the talent of this 3-year-old prodigy who stunned a World Champion. It's so inspiring to see such young talent in chess. Watching this gives me even more motivation to improve and enjoy my chess journey. Keep these amazing stories coming!
U have no clue about chess. Karpov won by time going out, and not defeat the kid with highend chess. Karpov is the best player ever when it comes to playing with kids. If the kid have 1600 elo rating, Karpov would beat him right away. But he didnt.... He let the kid play and enjoy the game. This game can make the kid want to play chess in the future.
E hasn't really done anything huge in chess since. But eh whatever. To do this at 3yo is a HUGE chess accomplishment as well as a huge maths accomplishment actually. You think 3yo's can understand these? - Adding and subtracting when counting material advantage - Telling time - Probability & statistics re draw offers You teach addition even up to 1st grade. In 2nd grade you're learning about time.
The little kid played an oldest and most respected opening theory of chess history but the former world chess Champion's variation with king indian defence the poor kid confused and did mistake. But he is just 3 years old. He can be a chess gm in future.❤❤❤
Definitely will be top 10 of the grandmasters. Probably will be a grandmaster before he reaches 18. He has good chances at the number one spot. What would be good if the father writes a book of how he taught the child.
La única explicación es que ya trae esas destrezas o conocimientos adquiridos en vidas anteriores . Nadie en la tierra ha tenido la capacidad de enseñarlo en este brillante juego. La reencarnación en acción.
Completely ridiculous to expose a 3-year-old child to the world in this way! The rest of his life he will be chased by the press, and people who want something (money) from him. His parents should have protected him, not throwing him to the lions. I am impressed by his talents, but much more by the ignorance of the people that surround him.

The reason Karpov offered the draws is probably because of this: If Karpov loses to a 3 year old, he’s considered bad. But if a 3 year old loses to Karpov, they say Karpov was too mean
The tears were adorable..he truly wanted to win and believed he could do it..very inspirational
The most fascinating thing is that he is still 3 years old after so many years

Это хорошо для него. Хуже подыгрывать, и получить в итоге пустышку
Actually skilled not talented , its a 3 year old thats skill
As an ex 3 year old, I can say this is pure talent and he will grow up to be the youngest grandmaster
Most of us are former 3 years old
as a current 3 year old, I agree.@@val91201
He’s currently 8 years old and around 1100 ELO, which is quite good honestly
Were you a child prodigy chess player? You are wonders of nature. You are great mysteries.

Absolutely! He is a true gentleman and mentor for the younger players!
Some kids are still scooting around on their knees eating dirt at 3 yo, this little dude is challenging grand masters at chess. Very impressive.
Du tust so als wäre das erste schlechtes. Das gehört dazu in einer normalen Entwicklung...
& at 33!
Perhaps, but someone needs to tell him that that there is no crying in chess!
yes
Incredible ! And also the pleasure to see Karpov, who is still a real gentleman !
Totally agree, he could defeat this kid in less than 20 moves and he didnt. Karpov just loves young players. He gives them a chance
Perfeito!
I have the privilage to say Karpov has never beaten me when I was 3 years old.
😂😂😂😂
LoL
Broke my heart when he cried
Heart moving moment for sure!
That kid is very blessed of being genius but I can't forget the Speedrun boss encounter 😂
This kid was blessed with high IQ
Absolutely! Very smart young man
To have a high IQ is not a blessing, its a problem for them. Western world dont like people with high Iq..
And cursed with having to play a match against Karpov
Mikhail Osipov is Now 11 years old and 1700 rating on Rapid and Blitz
He is only 3 years old, but his talent and focused like genius as professional.

Вообще-то мелкий проиграл. Карпов никогда не поддается.
он не чемпион уже.... это было 7 лет назад, ему уже около 12 лет, так что... Он вообще не поднялся, щас он обычный игрок
This is in the same time impressive and kind of sad. 😮
As a former 3 year old that did not have an earpiece....I never made it this far
Oh ic...it was just a show😂
Well, at least you didn't have to play a chess match against Karpov
