I feel like garen is outclassed by a ton of top laners, what makes garen so good is the low skill ceiling when it comes to abilities. Playing garen allows you to focus on the fundamentals and macro of the game more

Watching this game like how do you not get tilted watching these champs run around all over the place? Syndra jumping around, Sion (a fatass tank) running around like he's in cross country, and Xerath taking pot shots from the moon while complaining non-stop.

I love Sion matchups and usually run conqueror for early kills. 1 kill pre 6 and he loses nothing since he TP, but 2 kills pre 6 and it's GG.
I hate Aatrox matchups though, which you seem to like

i mained sion last season and i always felt that sion was strong against garen, i won most of my games against him. conq + ignite + lv 6 is a pretty good spike for the all in though, i dont think sion can win without a hp / item lead. and yeah if u survive the early game without much losses its pretty playable
