Holy shit I just realized the subtle foreshadowing... Arthas takes up a blade and it goes flying across the room towards Muradin. Well played. And don’t even get me started on the tragedy of invincible being the real event that ultimately led Arthas to evil... this story is phenomenal
This isn't the first time I hear you tell the story of Invincible.. and I still have to wipe away a manly tear or two! What happened is so sad.. and it makes Arthas' story itself even sadder. He only did what he thought was right and did whatever he needed to do to ensure that Lordaeron wouldn't fall. Just a shame that Frostmourne took it all away from him v.v Do keep up the good work, I can't wait to hear the rest!

Nobbel, I dont even play WoW anymore (2 years now) but I still follow your videos because you try your hardest to be SO invested in the lore. Warcraft has the potential to have such a rich and beautiful lore. I wish the movie followed it more closely. Keep up the good work dude.
Played WoW for years, was never bothered by the lore. But now im so intrigued by it, everything in the game has so much history to it, its just utterly amazing and emotionally satisfying. To anyone who is interested in Arthas as a lore figure, or the Lich King, I **highly** recommend reading the book that most of this material comes from which can be found on Amazon - Arthas: Rise of the Lich King Worth every moment it takes to read it through, especially if you want to learn more about Sylvanas, Jaina, Kael'thas, Uther, and a few other supporting lore figures.

Excellent telling of the first parts of the 'Rise of the Lich King' book. It is truly a great read for anyone who has not done it before, and I am looking forward to next week's video.

Arthas......"The Last hero on Azeroth".... it had a sad ending but at the same time I felt happy because these were the moments where Arthas Promised to himself that he would not let others fall... that if sacrifices had to be made to save others then he would rather sacrifice himself than allowing anyone to get hurt.... Are you planning on doing all the major villains in Warcraft Nobbel? So who's next? You did Illidan, Azshara, Gul'dan, Garrosh and the two Eredar Kil'Jadean and Archimonde. What about Sargeras, Kel'thuzad, Xavius or even Daethwing? Anyway keep up the great work man.

Which videos of yours do you recommend I watch to learn more about the first war, in particular how the kingdom of Lordaeron came to be?
