She was a very warm and sweet person. I met her at an afternoon party in Beverly Hills (no, I'm not bragging) and she approached me and started a conversation. I couldn't believe it!
IMO, Golden Girls was one of the funniest shows ever produced. The writers were amazing and the actresses even better. I'm 67 and I still love watching some reruns and UA-cam clip compilations of that show. They still crack me up!
FYI: when she was doing the Golden girls she kept her Toyota. It actually got towed because they didn't believe it was her car parked in her parking space at the studio. When the show become very successful she eventually bought a Chrysler fifth avenue. She was very frugal. As she should have been. I was unaware of the apartment you're mentioning but she did own a home in Los Angeles after making it on the Golden girls. I would assume due to her health it was too much for her and moved into an apartment. I believe she had a son? I'm sure he took care of everything. She was a remarkable actress. A woman that truly enjoyed her craft. May she rest in peace.
That show probably had the most excellent ensemble of actresses. What's equally hysterical is to watch some of the blooper reels from that show thanks so much for this great tribute to Eelle Getty
Great video! Assuming she was living in that apartment during the "Golden Girls" run, she also had an easy commute. Sunset-Gower and later Ren-Mar Studios weren't very far from that complex. I was sad when she and all the girls passed, but they will live forever in reruns. I really need to visit "Hollywood Forever." I've seen it so often but have yet to tour the place. Thanks again for another great video.
We love you Jeff. Sorry I keep saying that but you are a true legend in your own right. Again say in front of my TV on a Friday evening waiting for your video lol. I love these kind of videos as I said it's your voice that makes the videos even more interesting. You wouldn't have no problem getting a job as a radio or netflix documentary commentator. You have an amazing voice. Maybe it's the gummy worms that helped lol. Joke. It's sad to know that she didn't recognise her own cast from golden girls. I never knew that and how she was always afraid of death and made jokes about it. That was interesting. But I agree I would definitely live in that house very peaceful other then the traffic. I was actually hoping to visit forest lawn when I come to LA but then you mentioned if seeing one cemetery this one would be recommended. I can't wait to see more videos in that cemetery, it looks so beautiful and peaceful
@@FreyzelProductions really? Yes I had forest lawn in my mind for years but definitely wanna see it. I never heard of this one you showed but it's also on my list now it looks stunning and yes. You deserve the words. These are awesome videos you do 😁
Just wanted to thank you very much for all the intersting videos you have brought us this year and to wish you happiness and good health in 2025. The part of this video about you watching Goden Girls at you grandmother's brought back memories of my late mom, because this was also her favorite show.
Great video thanks, do u plan on visiting the other 3 of the golden girls or have u already done Bettys, leaving Rue & Bea? & can u list there ages in next Golden Girl video youngest to oldest? Thanks
Estelle Getty, Bea Arthur and Rue McClanahan all died within two years of one another. Betty White was the oldest Golden Girl yet outlived the others by more than a decade.
Hollywood CA is littered with Condo's, Apartment's and Townhomes. I never knew she lived in that area. I assumed she relocated to Palm Springs, California Las Vegas Nevada or New York City. I've been to Hollywood Forever Cemetery in 2005-2008. Took plenty of pictures back then. .. Rip ✨🕯️✨🥀✨🕯️🙏

How this obviously Jewish lady ended up playing an Italian woman always puzzles me.
How long did she live there?
Requiescat in Pace 🌹
She missed her 85th birthday by 3 days....
Are celebrities ever buried with their spouses? I mean she was married..
