My heart melted when I saw Sweet Peabody and then it broke when I learned he and his sister had passed away. Faith, thank you for taking him in and God Bless Kelly for letting us meet him!

He was deathly sick in this video and there is absolutely no way she didn't know that but she chose to put him on video anyway smh. He is literally not moving and looks like he's being treated like a ragdoll by her. Sadly he's still being shared on TikTok by her for views. RIP sweet Peabody. Just because he is a dwarf mini horse and had health challenges does NOT mean he should have been but down . This little horse was given proper vet care, was seen by a fairer and had special shoes and braces to straighten his legs and help him walk. If you watch the other video of him when she first got him on The Dodo you can see his progress. He can now run and plays with his mom's 3 French bull dogs which are about his size. He drank milk from a saucer, learned to eat grass and hay, lived inside with a special area and crate with blankets. He had custom coats made and lived to sleep on her husband's lap. This couple does NOT exploit horse or breed them . They buy mini horses to train them as therapy horses . Dwarfism can come with many challenges, most of which can be over come with medical or in this case Vet help. Peabody died from complications,most likely cardiac or liver issues. But during his short 4 month life he was given the best care, vet care and love any horse could ask for. He played with his frenchie friends and loved life. NO EXPLOITATION here! @@s.heller4098 no, I saw a lot more, believe me. I´m a responsable breeder who tests all horses on dwarfisme before breeding. She exploited this dwarf horse for money and fame. Don’t believe everything she writes, she bought the dwarf away from his mother and wanted to raise it in a human home. This foal was not a toy for humans but a living being and he became sick because of the wrong decisions she made.

She did not do what was right for that horse and you know it but refuse to admit it. People like her shouldn't be allowed to own animals let alone keep intact males with females. She does not breed mini horse. Her husband and her buy mini horse to train them as therapy animals for the handicapped. Peabody was born at a ranch that breeds these horses and was born with dwarfism. This woman took Peabody in to give him a chance at life,otherwise he would have been euthanized. She is doing everything possible for this little horse from special shoes and braces to help his legs straighten so he can walk normally. This isn't cheap. He lives inside with his own special crate to sleep in. However do to complication from his dwarfism he passed away. Probably a cardiac problem which is common in humans with dwarfism too . Before you comment on a story you should really listen to the facts , before condemned someone who is doing good for this little horse and handicapped patients. Therapy horse also visit nursing homes,hospital patients and schools and bring joy where ever they go. These horse live well and have the best care available.

He had a good life and liver failure can come in suddenly . Nothing this family did for him was shameful. Although he only lived 4 months they were 4 wonderful months that allowed him to live like a horse should, running, playing with the dogs, eating grass, and living a great life.
Please consider removing this video. Apparently this little baby died 'following the segment on the kelly clarkson show'. i dont know if that means a few days or hours or what. but clearly Peabody isn't well and its distressing to watch. There has been some criticism of his owner (not sure if its accurate or not) but again this animal appears listless and sick. Again please consider removing this video. There are many other videos on YT showing him playing and having fun.

Dwarfism is not a reason to euthanize an animal,as most defects can be corrected. However these animal should NOT be breed as dwarfism can be passed down. This couple gave Peabody 4 months good quality life with french bull dog friends, vet care, fairer care and lots of love. Watch his video on The Dodo and see for yourself. Yes, he is cute and adorable even as a dwarf. They deserve love too regardless of their condition so long as they can have a good quality of life and live like a horse should.
