Knowing the type of person/sister Ellie is, I kinda hate that she was the ABSOLUTE LAST person to know about the Intersect. If she were to find out, say at the end of the 3rd season, that would have been awesome!
Whereas I'm the type of person who was surprised she ever found out at all. She reminds me of parents on shows and movies (example: Home Alone) where kids could get away with anything and the parent would either not notice or judge falsely based on mediocre evidence.
Imagine if she knows about the intersect earlier than it should be. We probably have other person aside from chuck's dad to be able to create the new intersect program from scratch. That way we don't have to go through the painful ending the creator left us with.
I never understood why Sarah and Chuck are surprised to know that there was a human intersect before Chuck, they knew Chuck's father uploaded the original intersect on his brain, it might have been obvious that he was planning to test it on other agents.
If I remember correctly Stephen's version was a even earlier prototype than Chuck's original one and based on the kind of person he was, combined with the fact he tested it on himself, them assuming he wouldn't allow other people to test it before he knew it was 100% safe is understandable. The Intersect also required a "Governor" watch to keep the user sane and to their knowledge Stephen only made two (his own and the one he made for Chuck the season before). Also, while the original plan was to have multiple Intersect agents, Bryce was officially chosen to be the first test subject. The fact that Stephen and Hartley/Volkoff had Intersects well before that was very well kept secrets.
Well chuck was the first successful intersect. Most people can’t handle it and if they do they feel the side effects much faster than chuck. Chucks brain is one in a billion brains to handle the intersect and not feel the side effects so soon
Just for the record, I absolutely love this scene and don’t want to trash on it, BUT I feel like there has to be some better way to show off the intersect than just being good with a sword - I mean, Sarah’s good with a sword (probsbky😂), and she doesn’t have the intersect The Japanese at the end may have made it worth it though

Is it just me or is this the best scene from chuck
Season 4 had a lot of great scenes but I’d go for Ellie’s wedding as the best scene as it was the scene where Sarah finally chose chuck over Bryce

Because all evidence suggested the experiment failed and people became insane. Sarah knew that the intersect Chuck has the first with stable version.
