He had an advantage because he felt comfortable and knows the center well, but you have to remember that the lane conditions for the Pba tournament is completely different from whatever University Lanes would have.
But too bad none of the Pros have the knowledge about Tom Daugherty’s place. Beating everyone in your own house was like the biggest advantage. I love Kyle Troup but I was rooting for Tom Daugherty since I always supporting the 7 Brands of Brunswick and to be honest that I’m getting too annoyed by Storm/Roto/Global Bowlers making each shows repeatedly, I get it that they’re the best ball company in the world and Storm Bowlers deserve the wins which is great for them but there are still other brands outside of them that needed a chance, just like the Chameleon Championship that all 7 Brands of Brunswick in one show with not a single Storm in the telecast.

He was always the obnoxious kid, then the overbearing pro, and now he will be the cranky old man. He was never a good sport. BUT, when you're one of the 3 or 4 best bowlers of all time, and definitely the most memorable and iconic, I guess we can chuckle and just chalk it up to, "Yeah, that's PDW for you".
@Earl Rogers Because it shows disregard for the network? For the people watching at home? Bowling is a family sport, so you shouldn't say those things cause people like to watch with their kids? There's a myriad of reasons why you shouldn't talk like that on a live sports cast on a network broadcast.
Tom really has won 2 title this year, one being a major, and bowled against Pete Weber and Walter Ray Jr on their final nights.
