We're sailing on Enchanted in several months, to use our cruise credits. At this point, I'm over the mega ships. We dislike being nickel and dimed for every little thing. We're looking forward to taking some all inclusive cruises on smaller ships next year.
Great video.I'm cruising on this ship in late March through early April for a 10 Southern like the one you showed.I've done the Southern 3 times before with Princess but I'm excited for this brand new ship.My favorite thing to do is to snorkel.I will stick to the cruise line's excursions as I am traveling solo and want to be sure I'm safe and I don't get left behind.I have snorkeling excursions booked at all ports except Dominica.They usually have just the Champagne Reef Snorkeling for about $60 but I noticed it's only available now in a $200 all day pkg along with the Falls, Titou Gorge etc.That's a bummer! Dominica has beautiful snorkeling areas .I will keep checking to see if anything else is added or bite the bullet and take the expensive 8 hour excursion just to get my snorkeling in.Thanks for all of the great tips.
Thank you for the video and wealth of information! You're very good at speaking clearly and concisely without rambling! I would, though, recommend a wireless dedicated microphone that has noise cancellation so that ambient noise would be reduced. The background noises were a tiny bit distracting. A high quality mic will resolve that issue!
just found your channel, we were on that cruise......... was very nice....... you missed the Static Party Band, they were excellent........ we agree that it started so-so but got better as it went along, by the 5'th day was up to par, new ship, new crew. The Crown Grill was excellent as was the pizza restaurant some of the best pizza we ever had and being from Boston we can throw a meatball and hit a good pizza place.............Back on Sky the end of Jan..........ps. I'm the guy with the floppy yellow hat on the Capt Morgan catamaran.

And do you think if this is necessary to bring our own snorkels if we are going to the excursion at st. Thomas? One more question if you know, is there ways to board the ship earlier on the first day? Thanks
I wasn't able to find a good way to know capacity before we left. I really only know because the captain announced it one day. However, I knew it would be less by going through the booking online process up to where you choose your cabin and noticed there were quite a lot of cabins left to choose from. Also, no, you don't have to bring your own if you are ok renting them. We brought ours just because we knew they fit right and we felt more comfortable with our own stuff (which for SCUBA was needed, but for snorkel wasn't as much of a big deal). The only way to board early (to my knowledge) is to try your best to get group A when boarding (or if you are an elite, platinum, or suite level passenger - you can get some earlier perks that way as well). Have a great trip! I'd love to hear how about it when you get back!

In our case it never was. We were able to reserve a cabana the day before we wanted one. However, we were only at 30% capacity, so reservations everywhere were always plentiful. But, even if your cruise is 100%, if you’re group A and go there when you embark, I’m sure you’ll get the reservation(s) you want :) have a great trip! Let us know how it goes!
Do you still have to run on arriving to ship to the sanctuary to book a cabana or did they have a new way to book sanctuary facilities? I’m cruising in dec on enchanted princess so I was wondering.
In our case (with only about 1/3 capacity), I was able to book a cabana on the second to last day with no problems. However, if your cruise is more full, it might be safer to book on your first day (just in case). You can also use the Chat feature on the Medallion App to chat with staff and request the reservation instead of going up.
Very informative video as I am booked on this ship in 2023. @ suggestions - drop the hand movements they are very distracting and also, the person taking the video needs to stop clearing his throat and sniffing. The background noise is a little distracting as well and I see someone has suggested a mic for that. Overall, great facts and tips
Just got off the enchanted princess last Friday. I have had covid starting the next day. There is too many people, and no one wearing masks. The elevators should only have 6 people, but they were coming in until there was at least 15 people all way too close together. Food was excellent.
Try to filter out the background noise. It is hard for people with hearing problems to hear with the interference. More video of the ship and activities and a bit less "talking head" would rate a very good grade for the video.
Just off the second Enchanted Princess and it was the WORSE princess cruise. Bad food, mediocre entertainment and minimal activities except for trivia, trivia and more trivia. The medallions apt requires you to constantly carry your phone. Many of the waiters had issues with the apt. Would not want to sail princess again. The food did not get better. They were disorganized and a very disappointing cruise. Speciality restaurants had bad reviews but didn’t go. The buffet area is poorly designed. The staff onboard were very friendly and wanted to make you happy. The pizza was good as was the international cafe. Nightly at Vista lounge was the elite and platinum lounge buffet was mediocre and non one from the captains club showed up but the first 2 nights. Late night entertainment ended by 10:30 PM!!

We are on the Enchanted Princess in February 2023 for a 10 day Caribbean cruise.
I was on there last month and the ship was huge holding 3000 people on the ship. The staff was amazing

I’m not sure, I didn’t hear that was an option (but that doesn’t mean it’s not there). Perhaps if you pay for their transfers to/from the airport?
