As it stands, there's no official word on either of those Afronation editions since last year. I have my doubts whether they'll resume any time soon, which remains to be seen. Logistically and financially, I think the overseas editions provide the right business conditions atm

They can’t put every country on stage, it becomes too crowded.
Nor should they - diversifying the lineup as the festival goes is a growth strategy and recognition of big names across the continent from various countries. Not literally to say pack them all at one festival.
@@MJWemoto how many countries are in Africa, 54 or more, so they should put all on stage to please you or diversify, please tell your region, if you are in east Africa create your own, Southern part create your own, if west Africa wants to put everyone on stage it will be too much, now you talking about the whole Africa, whether you like it or not people will still complain, but come to think of it now the whole Africa wants to identify with what Nigeria created, but will call Nigeria 🇳🇬 terrible names and will completely dissociate themselves from Nigeria when it’s yahoo.

Imagine Afronation paying all these artists you are talking about. Who will want to sponsor afronation with the strategy you are talking about. They pull out of Ghana because they couldn’t get sponsors from that country.

Nigerians is the owner of Afronations and they have the right to select any artist that can make a good ticket sells and bring profit to the business.
