I was glued to this movie from beginning to end. One of the best movies I've ever seen. The incredible filming on how they caught the actors and the scenery. I loved all the actors and great choices for this movie.

Wow that's one beautiful man right there! Native Americans are such beautiful human beings. The way they respect and love mother earth and all animals has always made me want to learn more about all the tribes and history of these amazing people ♥️
Before whites came they had no concept of rape. They couldn't understand why anyone would destroy a woman's spirit doing such a thing. Time-Life books, The Indians.

A totally beautiful man! AND movie .. AND cast… AND soundtrack..And cinematography.. AND director… AND everything about it! Should have RAN AWAY with every Oscar in 1993!!!
They are a people with a very rich and particularly diverse history. So you will find a lot of tribes that follow this idea of "mother earth" as you say.
But you will also find tribes, which have been war-like, cruel and even took slaves, battling with other stribes and having a very different belief.
The native americans, just like all humans really, had their good and bad habits, their positive and negative traits. And they knew about it. Which is why so many sayings are believed to come from them, regarding the duality of human nature. They haven't been oblivious to the destructive capability humans display in general.
Then why did you try to wipe them out.

This was one of the best movies put out. Rest in Peace Russell Means, you are missed very much. Every Actor and actress in this movie was picked to perfection. Eric Schweig was and still is a hottie. Just my opinion.
