      I agree with you, and the story is about "youth." I don't think they are old enough to even understand what is going on, and if they think that rest of the world is as it looks like on UA-cam and TikTok, then they really don't know nothing.

      @Kenin2000 my friend I know very well what inflation can doo to people, as you can see I live in Arizona (USA) where we have higher inflation than any other state in the country, people in here have to work two or more jobs to survive, my weekly gas expense is $120 just to go to work, I don't even want to talk about how much it costs to eat and other stuff, we have more homeless people in Arizona then Turkey have strayed dogs and cats but you don't see that on TV or Facebook and tiktok, in America more people get killed by guns every month than in Ukraine, so over all if Turkish youth is striving for this kind of democracy than they are under wrong impression what real democracy looks like.

      @@ARIZONANLIFEyour weekly gas expense of $120 is super cheap. You wouldn't survive in gas station with that amount. There are no stray dogs or "cats" in US if you compare to Turkey:) Come here and see the streets full of cats and dogs.

    I just want to explain something
    1. they are ignoring the support of HDP/PKK(kurds) for kemal kilicdaroglu that will trigger the support of the nationalists for Erdogan.
    2. Erdogan made literally a perfect campaign and he was preparing himself for the last 3 months by invelling many national defence units like national fighter jet/ helicopter / car togg and + free natural gaz for 1 year and much more .
    3. the discussion in this video ignored the campaign period and just focused on old stats . the political environment now is different then 2022

    • @omerertas3550
      @omerertas3550 Рік тому +4

      HDP is not PKK, Any deputy who has a slightest criminal record(over one year) would not be able to attend to the election. This is a political game, If they were linked to Terrorist organisation, why they were open till election, why people were free to vote such a party.
      I wouldn't vote for HDP, since they are marginal left, they might have the same audience with pkk, but a pkk terrorist will still be a terrorist whoever comes to the head of Turkey, They know, and their support is probably not as much as to their own leaders.
      I am a Turkish, and I have conservative and right wing leaning political view.
      Still I would vote for Kemal Kılıcdaroglu since Erdoğan started to become the one man. (hitler, stalin, big Brother, sauron... whatever you call). And there is a lot like me, we are not the game changer but people around people like themselves are well more aware than they used to, InshaAllah

People have become unhappy than ever. Most of the changes happened within few months where prices increased by 200% or more. There are 15 million foreigners, even arabic countries do not give citizenship to arabic refugees, syria accepted palestiniam refugees but palestinians do not have vote right etc, but Türkiye s demogratic. So this demographic change will change goverment and president, Turks will be minority in own country, this mean handovering free state to foreigners, this is the biggest crime,
      Also there are 22 arabic countries but half of syrians are in Türkiye. There are oil rich gulf arabic countries, they must look after arabic refugees, they must give citizenship to arabic refugees, but they do not care about them, they are too rich that they are only bosses but not workers, so workers around world come there to work as slave because there are kafalah system that a foreigner worker must pay from his earning to a gulf citizen, also he can not go back to his own country without permission of that gulf citizen

      @@llovageeow nonsense your mind set. You blamed someone for Covid-19 pandemic, Earthquake, Russian-Ukraine war all sudden happend in very short time which is curse for economic crisis in Turkey and all over the world. You are totally misguided. Here is some report about economic crisis and inflation increasing all about the world.
      "A worldwide increase in inflation began in mid-2021, with many countries seeing their highest inflation rates in decades. It has been attributed to various causes, including pandemic-related economic dislocation, supply chain problems, the fiscal and monetary stimuli provided in 2020 and 2021 by governments and central banks around the world in response to the pandemic, and price gouging. Unexpected recovery in demand through 2021 ultimately led to historic and broad supply shortages (including chip shortages and energy shortages) amid increasing consumer demand.
      In early 2022, the Russian invasion of Ukraine's effect on global oil prices, natural gas, fertilizer, and food prices further exacerbated the situation.[2] Higher gasoline prices were a major contributor to inflation as oil producers saw record profits. Debate arose over whether inflationary pressures were transitory or persistent, and to what extent price gouging was a factor. Central banks responded by aggressively increasing interest rates.[3][4][5][6] The inflation rate in the United States and the eurozone began abating in the second half of 2022, continuing into 2023.
      Even USA inflation rate increased 8 times higher after 2020.

Looking at it through the lense as a Muslim and what he has achieved for Turkey and the Umah as a whole he has certainly ticked most of my boxes. And with regard to inflation it is not unique to Turkey, America and Europe like the rest of the world are all grappling with it due to the fallout of the post COVID - 19 pandemic. Erdogan has an added hurdle that caused inflation to skyrocket which is the recent earthquake which by the way he is handing admirably now that he has a handle on it. • @missbetaparis
      @missbetaparis Рік тому +10

      Indeed, there is an economic downturn affecting many nations. However, in the case of Turkiye, the downturn has been exacerbated by misguided political and economic strategies implemented by the current government. Regrettably, there seems to be no intention on the part of the government to address this issue effectively. In fact, their constant increase of minimum wages only serves to worsen the already high level of inflation. This, in turn, creates a cycle where individuals rush to spend their money immediately to avoid future price increases, perpetuating the inflationary spiral. Moreover, since the minimum wage is set by law, those earning above the minimum wage are at the mercy of their employers who, more often than not, do not increase wages by the same percentage. Consequently, the middle class is shrinking. Considering these facts, it is evident that stability is lacking in the country.
